No. Vesey went through months being total ass last year. Vesey's production is a joke for the minutes he gets spoon-fed. Vesey is a case of a coach giving a kid every chance to succeed. Buchnevich is what a personal vendetta looks like.

Oh I agree totally but at the same time and much like Buch, he's never played 82 games at the NHL level so to think he wasn't going to run out of steam is kinda silly.
With last year aside, this is what ALL NHL rookies go through.
All apart of the process..

So even beyond "a scratch", why does one player take the fall and always move down and get lesser ice time and minutes and all the others I named who are struggling worse than our third leading scorer and leader or second place player in just about every offensive efficiency and possession category don't have anything about their role adjusted beyond maybe once in a while?

Seems like someone who's afraid to hold his veterans accountable, and wants to pick on his youngest player.
Just so we’re clear, you do know the first post you responded to, I said you can’t forgeo your best offensive players for lesser talent. Do you actually think I want Buch put in a position to fail? You play through your ruts, every player has them. He’s a f***ing sophomore.

You’re arguing with me when we agree on the same damn thing

Come out flying!
Enough of this lackluster BS.
Play with some emotion!
If I were the GM I'd be furious.
They need a good start!

LGR!!!!!!!!!!!

Vesey's good production is worse or at least no better than Buchnevich's bad production.

AV has created an alternate universe that some are buying into. And I actually believe a lot of this "Buchnevich is struggling" narrative is AV created, and isn't true. Yeah, he had a few bad games, lets now push him down in the lineup with 13th forwards and fourth liners, and then wonder why he's not producing at a point per game pace. He has 6 points in 16 games since the beginning of December. Rick Nash has 4 points in that span, Zibanejad has 1 point in 8 games in that span, Hayes has 6 points in that span. None of those players should be scratched. You don't move your best players down in the lineup after a few bad games, and then play them with grinders for a few games, and then scratch them. Thats simply illogical and counterproductive to trying to win games.

This was the same situation as last year when they actually sent him down, and many people here were convinced it was deserved. Then they created a narrative a few months later that he had improved so much, when in reality it was minor improvements and proper ice time, which has left him of late. Why is it a surprise?

VGK play at T Mobile Arena but are broadcast on AT&T Sportsnet. Interesting.

See this is where we differ. I think Vesey defends really well. Back checks like crazy.

Anyone that complained about last nights effort should applaud AV letting the team know it wont fly. There are another handful of guys that could be benched but he only has 2 spare players.
