It'd be nice to play some decent hockey tonight. It'd be nice to not be on the back foot for most of the game.

Any kind of points out of the game will be a bonus.
 
Well, my holiday leave ended today and I’m on patrol tonight from 8:30-5am. Maybe I’ll be able to catch the game on my phone from the car if it’s a quiet night. Was really looking forward to kicking back for another night of Rangers hockey and a couple of brews and then it dawned on me that I had to shave and go back to work tonight.

They have a bunch of random 3rd/4th liners that are wildly outperforming anything they've ever done before, known good players like Marchessault/Smith/Neal/Perron, and some good prospects in Tuch/Theodore.

They had very few good players gifted to them - outside of FLA.

If u go up and down the lineup and really ask yourself who deserves to sit if you had to bring a winger in it should be buchnevich. This kid has been crap for a month. Gets top pp time gets plenty of chances on top line he’s been awful. The coddling needs to stop the blaming of AV needs to stop. Wake up Buch. I’m a big fan but this could looks completely disinterested in getting his hands dirty whatsoever.

That drop pass in OT by Lettieri makes me think otherwise. He also gave Buch the nod with the game on his stick, so here’s to hoping for the best. Playoffs are on the line every game, and if we’re missing Zucc again, you can’t forego your best offensive players for lesser talent. It’s twofold: AV needs to play Buch and Buch needs to be better.

Yes. Because 30 teams in the league are irresponsible and allow their players to party wildly the night before a game.

I don't doubt some players "relax a bit more" when they hit Vegas, but to think that players "party their faces off and are hung over" is the only explanation for the Golden Knights being 17-2 at home...

AV has created a situation where he doesn't put one of his best players in a position to succeed because of a few random games where the team struggles or sometimes its not even a few games, it could be a period, two periods, and one player takes the fall under this coach just about every time. Not some underperforming vet or the captain or anything like that, the best younger player on the team who's one of the team's most efficient and best performing players. And then when that player obviously plays worse with lower minutes, worse line mates, people say "See! He's playing poorly! AV's right!", when he's actually not right, and his decisions hurt his team's chances to win.

There are also other problems with how AV coaches, but this is certainly one of them, and I don't think some of the narratives surrounding this situation are grounded in facts.

I have to agree 100% but at the same time, this IS the roster for good or bad.
There are no reserves..
