Most truthful post of the thread. But I don't think they need a full rebuild or a serious housecleaning. They just need a better coach.
 
the D has been awful and there are some here who mentioned trading Staal lol. Staal is the best dman we have period
 
Yeah, defense continues to be strangely messed up. Girardi has had a pretty crappy year overall. Maybe it's because Tortorella has been switching his pairings around so much or something after Girardi has had a steady partner for the past couple of years, but he just seems off

Dunno, seemed like a pretty good game outside of some defensive screwups, I'm not gonna freak out and complain like the Rangers are the worst team ever, etc. If the defense was up to last years standards, the Rangers would be dominating

Once Staal is back and DZ isn't getting as many minutes and Girardi is more comfortable, things will get better. Counting down to those days.
 
For all the **** talking about Callahan, he had a beautiful screen on the McD goal.
 
Doc on the Bruins win: "Sometimes you eat peas with a knife but you still get nourishment."

I'm not sure what to make of that. He's a nice guy but he grates on me as an announcer.

Not really. We are currently in 8th with Jets at our heels. We are in a three way tie between 6th -8th. If we lose on Saturday, a very good chance we are back to looking from the outside again.

Rangers could very easily fall apart.
 
phew needed 2 pts. I want 6th not 5th so god let the Leafs have it.

i stared at the screen in silence for a few seconds because i wasnt sure if he actually said that.

I'm pragmatic. If the team gave me a reason to believe, I would be the first to waive the pom poms.

All I see is wasted potential.

Ironically my Hf handle has the same initials as Brian Boyle. A player I am not too fond of. To be fair, Torts is getting all of my bile at this point. Not the players.
