Funny how Lundqvist only had 19 saves. Seems like it was a much harder game to tend goal because it came in spurts. Very tough for a goalie that way.

Boyle's effort was great. But he was -1 tonight. He's -13 for the year. Good Boyle games rarely affect the scoreboard in positive ways. Tonight was no different.

Won't be able to see Saturday's game against the Islanders but that's for the best. If I miss it and Rangers win, awesome. If I miss it and they lose, i missed a ****** game.

Great to see em win tonight, gotta keep it up. 2 days rest should help this team. Hoping for an Islanders loss tomorrow and some other losses to give the Rangers a push and less need for points.

Girardi showed glimpses of his pre-2011-12 self tonight, and it wasn't pretty. I was a little leery of re-signing him in 2010 because this is how he used to play back then. I think last season was a career year for him, not sure he will replicate that again.
