Yeah I really didn't think Copper was an idiot. I get how skilled his top two are but the fact he is not playing four lines is going to play into our hands. The longer the top 6 are on the ice the slower they are and their speed is their only advantage.

Even the whole Canes player thing aside, supporting a team full of offensive dynamos get absolutely nullified by Slavin makes you want to bang your head against the wall. Obviously we see if 82+ times a year but really doesn’t fully come through until you’re on the other side of it.

Unfortunately puts into perspective the drop off Burns has had. Put him with a guy as good as Faber and Slavin looks 25 again.
