This is going to be so boring compared to USA CANADA in MTL. One of the best games of all times
To be honest, besides the first 9 seconds in Montreal, the final was a much better played game. The defence and goaltending was outstanding. Slavin and Faber were exceptional, Makar was outstanding. Even the intensity was more ramped up for last nights game. A much more compelling game.

Tomorrow will be a bit of a slog, a bit of a hangover, but before long we’ll be all in.

Will be so nice to have Jarnkrok back, not because I love him, but because he dumps Holmberg to the press box. Major upgrade there.

Although we've played him mostly on the wing, most of his career has been at C. It will be interesting to see if they give him some rope to take the 3C position, negating a need to make a trade for that spot.

How close is Domi to the press box I wonder?
3G and 16 hits in 47 games for a poor defensive player is press box material.
He isn't close at all. He's never been a guy who hits, so that was understood when he signed. More goals would be nice, but if he can be close to 0.5PPG, that is decent value for his contract.

He only has 16 hits, but he has 2 fighting majors, several roughing or similar calls against guys like Hathaway and Tkachuk. In a one on one situation with players like that Domi can stand up for himself and the team. He's seems to chat quite a bit with the other team as well. So, he is involved, he just isn't much of a body checker.

He is 4 points away from .5 ppg, it is possible with a better cast around him, guys like Steeves and Jarnkrok insulating the bottom of the lineup. Two guys that can both score goals, could draw him more in line with a 45-50 point pace.

Man…going from watching a 4th line of Jarvis and Marchand to Kampf and Blackholmberg is rough

this game is gonna suck compared to last night

It feels like the Leafs are trying to keep Jarnkrok out until the trade deadline at the very least. For the cap space and the roster space. I thought for sure he'd be gone for the season but seems like he'll play at some point in the next few weeks,
