Team US showed no interest in him, while Canada did. His parents are from Canada and he has dual citizenship. Much like how Brett Hull wound up playing for the US.By the way, did you guys know that Thomas Harley was born in New York? Kid's a traitor. Put him through the boards
Through the boards!Team US showed no interest in him, while Canada did. His parents are from Canada and he has dual citizenship. Much like how Brett Hull wound up playing for the US.
How about counting stats if you don’t like metricsI see a ton of Tuch as I have ESPN+ and I am a BRUINS fan born and raised in Boston. Watched plenty of Tuch at BC, fine player but he has peaked. Those metrics are meaningless because you can't use "metrics" on what you think will happen in the future. It’s obviously opinion based.
Lol, it doesn't matter we are talking about the future. Right now Knies is on an 82 game pace for 30-31 goals in a year he has had to deal with a concussion. How about counting stats if you don’t like metrics
Harley never showed any interest in playing for the U.S.Team US showed no interest in him, while Canada did. His parents are from Canada and he has dual citizenship. Much like how Brett Hull wound up playing for the US.
Isn't the first player to play for a different country than where he was born and won't be the last.By the way, did you guys know that Thomas Harley was born in New York? Kid's a traitor. Put him through the boards
Need TD Garden to replicate this energy
Was thinking the same thing. Different times for sureHaha.. the people with the sparklers would probably be thrown in jail for 10 years today
Sure thing Mr KniesLol, it doesn't matter we are talking about the future. Right now Knies is on an 82 game pace for 30-31 goals in a year he has had to deal with a concussion.
It’s my expectation he will hit 35 goals next year and become a very good Power Forward alongside Matthews. I'm leaving it there and we will see what happens the rest of this year.
Yeah 36 year old pietro is going to be such a force next yearGet real Makar, Theodore, AP will all be in Italy next year and are way more
impactful than just Hughes, do better.
I'm talking about all three of them in total. Not by himself compared to Hughes.Yeah 36 year old pietro is going to be such a force next year
Both these statements warm my heart.I'd like to apologize to Mike Sullivan, maybe the penguins just stink. He's managed the line combos, d pairings, ice times, and matchups to near perfection so far.
I think that's near definite lol. That is not a strong roster, especially in net.I'd like to apologize to Mike Sullivan, maybe the penguins just stink. He's managed the line combos, d pairings, ice times, and matchups to near perfection so far.
Did he grow up completely in the Syracuse area? If so what youth orgs did he play for?Harley never showed any interest in playing for the U.S.
Top end depth exceeds 1996? Totally disagree. 1996 had Chelios, Leetch & Housley on D make the HOF and Modano, Roenick, Hull, and Lafontaine make the HOF uofront. Barrasso is in the HOF and was backup to Richter. Then you hadI see a lot of talk about players not here. For f*** sake, let's focus on the guys we have here for tomorrow instead of imaginary scenarios that are meaningless.
We are finally at a point where the top end depth has exceeded 1996 levels. We will continue to be leaving off lots of talented players from our pool. The group brought has looked to be the exact right choice. Proud of these dudes for how quickly they have come together, though many have played a bunch prior for WJC and USNDP.
Larkin is deserving of this. Same as Nelson. All the guys who have answered the call for WC's and of course for Johnny Hockey. Play hard tomorrow don't let up an inch. Long break between tomorrow and Thursday so give it all you got!
He played youth hockey in Syracuse, but he has been quoted as saying he was raised to consider himself Canadian. Playing for the U.S. was never a consideration.Did he grow up completely in the Syracuse area? If so what youth orgs did he play for?
I'm guessing that means he's probably a bit banged up.So, they are playing in Boston and......scratch McAvoy. LOL. Maybe Swayman will get some playing time?
