Yes. Needs a lot of work. Not an NHL skater at this juncture.

Rob O'Gara was said to skate well as well and in over a month, I haven't seen an impressive 10-feet stride from him.

I guess, I know which sequence you just saw and yes. We kinda knew this after some scouting after we drafted him. He definitely needs to improved that area. This is the fastest league, not simply because the rink is smaller. Think of it that way, the rink is smaller and the fastest players play the fastest game on it. That's like x² instead of x.

Unfortunately speed and skating in general seem to be difficult to improve. His speed might keep him in the bottom-6, or even worse.
