I want Quinn’s defensive coach back. We give every team all the time in the world to literally walk in a just fire at will. I’ll gladly take the 2 points, Igor was God-tier.

I am weary though. I understand a new coach, we have some key players out, but we look disorganized and offensively inept/predictable.

Next 3 games are very winnable.

NSH
OTT
CGY

Need 4/6 points minimum. Igor should play all of the next 4. They have 3 days off after the CGY game.

I expect Barron to be in next game.
I wish I could share your optimism. I think 2-3 points is more likely.

you guys remember that one game back in October 2008, when Zherdev tied it up with minimal time left, and then Hank proceeded to be an absolute wall in OT and the Shootout?

that's what this performance reminded me of.

I honestly do not remember Hank being that locked in at 25, especially against those Canadian crowds. Shesty is a GD monster.

Georgiev probably gets that afternoon game

there are only 2 other teams that have played 4 games thus far. And only one other team (Toronto) that has played 4 in 6 nights.

One is Seattle they played 4 games in 7 days and just got waxed in Philly.

the other is Toronto and three of those 4 games were at home.

we played 4 in 6 with 3 being on the road. Just brutal way to start the year.

Yeah he looks a step slow every night and like he's not sure what to do with the puck half the time. Calling cards of a player who is out of shape or nursing a minor injury.

For all the complaining the last week about Miller I think he's been far better than Lindgren. Lindgren has had a few giveaways each game that lead to prime scoring chances against and people just gloss over it and proceed to dump on Miller for one mistake that may or may not even have been his fault.

I think Lindgren will round into form but we need more from him. Thankfully we have Fox to float him along.
Yeah I've been pumping Lindgren's tires since day one but he's definitely having a slow start (figuratively and literally). It has been noticeable. I don't think he has been terrible but he's hasn't been his normal, Steady Eddie self.

Absolutely show stopping game by Shesty. Unbelievable performance.

Panarin really not looking great for most of the night. Just going through the motions. Hopefully the goal gets him going a bit.
