See..That's the part that pisses me off the most.

None of the current so called leaders have never led **** in their entire career and yet, here we are.
The outcome moving fwd shouldn't be any surprise to anyone that follows hockey..

I think the thought was to give certain guys a chance based on their potential.

The reality is that if a guy like Zibanejad were to put it all together, and pick up where he left off last season, it would go a long way to helping this team.

Moving on from McD or Nash is one thing. Even a guy like Zucc makes sense.

But cutting bait on players like Zibanejad, Kreider or Hayes is a lot riskier proposition. I get the sense that the Rangers wanted to give them ball and see what they’d do with it.

Come on Quinn... YOU NEED A GOAL... put your best offensive talent on the ice... PLEASE

Well Marc Staal was the alternate captain on the team through our whole contending window and Lundqvist has carried the franchise his entire career. That’s two at least.

I'm talking about the players that were brought in to supplement the current leadership.
Zib, Shattenkirk, Smith..These players aren't going to bring shit to the table and Staal/ Lundqvist certainly can't do it all on their own..

I’m liking Howden a lot.

I felt strongly this board would really like him once they got to see him and know him a bit more.

When you’d watch Moose Jaw, it seemed like he was always one of the stars of the game — even if the offensive numbers didn’t jump off the page.

I figured he’d play a steady game and eventually grow into his own a little. The solid offensive start to the season has been nice to see.

He, just like Lias, has the "Johnny on the spot" factor that's just a part of his natural talent. The kid is always in the right position and knows what to do to drive play forward.

DeAngelo, DeAngelo, DeAngelo, my God I hate when you do shit like that. Amazing two line tape passes from behind his own net but when he tries to do too much in his own end is when it gets tough for me to watch.
