Namestnikov has had about 5 million chances and missed on every single one.

the trade rumors last deadline was what broke him. His heart has already moved on in some ways. The "A" on his sweater is just a matter of seniority and appearances. Shattenkirk is a Ranger at heart and is far more committed to this near future of this franchise and yet, he's the one without an A. This season is a lot of confusing stuff.

If that’s the case, he might not have to wait until the deadline for his “heart to go on.”
