Ok that Bruin game is over, time to get to work.
I have no problem with Henrik in net tonight. He needs time to get sharp and this is a division game. Id give Biron the game against the Leafs because 3 games in 4 nights is tough on a goalie.
The Rangers were still running around in their own end at times, chasing the puck. That needs to stop. When they are at their best they are staying in their lanes and letting the play come to them, and when the puck arrives in the their quadrant, attack.
Too many times are we seeing the weakside D and wingers slide over to the puck side and it creates overcompensation and open lanes all over the place. Then the dominoes start falling. Its obvious they need to settle down their over-anxiousness and trust the system. I'd like to see that improved tonight, a perfect place to focus on the D, on the road, 2nd game in a back to back.
Hank is guilty of it as well, overcompensating and not being "quiet" enough in the crease. He was following the rest of his defense on a few plays and it lead to some scrambling. Benny and him will recognize that and fix it quickly. Thats why it may be good for Biron to get a start soon because hes very calm in the net and it could help settle down the movement in front of him.
