I was just looking at the isles lineup tonight. 8 young players with none of the fanfare of the flyers youngsters and winning again. Maybe Barzal. Still have Dobson, walhsrom bellows and sorokin to come. I’m getting more more disgusted thinking how over rated this group is.

I would say the PP isn’t either considering we have Haks college hire still running it and the PP has been largely amazing in the past with the same or lesser players. PP is as systems dependent as a PK is too.

I knew this **** would happen as soon as Hak was fired. People would get satiated and forget all the other problems, which is why I always said it needed to be Hak and Lappy fired and replaced with good coaches (meaning, not Gordon). Instead, **** went down like I thought it would. Hak goes, people get happy, people forget all the other issues that should’ve been fixed and get impatient and reactionary again.

We’re playing our ****ing fourth string 20-year old prospect as our starter, Lappy is still here, Knob is still here, Gordon is our interim, AMac is still here, Myers is still in the minors, Lindblom and Konecny still get trash usage. What the **** do people expect? Hak out is literally the only needed change that was made. Then they changed a bunch of **** that wasn’t an issue.

The PP hasn't been good, but I think a large chunk of that has been bad luck and some of it is Knob being an idiot with personnel. It's been too successful, for too long, for me to worry about the system or the most important players on it (G and Ghost).

But yeah, the coaching is still a massive problem here. All three of Knob, Lappy, and Gordon must be replaced this summer or we'll continue having similar problems. Blame is being placed on the wrong sources by anyone souring on the core players.

And with out Hart we lose 6-1 last game. Forwards still only have 1 goal in 5 periods vs two back up goalies.

The bottom two lines are still terribly assembled and the Couts line had zero chance with Simmonds on there. Coaching has improved, but is still clearly an issue.

Because it wasn’t a problem last game, but goal scoring was. This is two straight games vs back ups where or regulars can’t score.

For as bad as our goalies always are, this group has a lot of streaks where scoring completely drys up.

So, do you base all your opinions on the last two games? Again, we’re playing our 4th string 20 year old prospect as a starter and he has a sub.900. I don’t know what Neuvirth’s is now, but our only goalie to post a .900 or .910 plus is Elliott last I checked. Again, I never said goaltending is the only problem, I asked how is it not one of the biggest ones which you, again, ignored and deflected. Which is why I’m done.
