In a sick kind of way, I kind of feel prepared for what is happening right now.

I don’t feel the team was bad as they started, or as good as they looked in November and early December. I feel like this is...closer to the real thing?
I think they're exactly the same and the results are all puck luck.

The goaltending and offensive stuff from the top 5 forwards is quite good.
The transition defense and slot defense is absolutely abominable.
The bottom-6 is a complete donut.

Same as its been all year.

Have you ever played an sports in your life? The coach’s job is to precisely rule on such matters and control the ice time of those who refute him.

Also watch any micd up NHL show of the last ten years.

DQ is a softee - Haley should be in against teams
like Nashville and Boston.

I’m not saying he should be fired but it’s now how things are done in NY

My demeanor is not as serious as you think it is.

And yes, Badminton in 8th grade.

I know it wasnt georgievs fault, but maybe call up shesterkin now? Give him a run and see how he does. Its wierd to see both goalies do meh back to back. Usually were steaming after one, but it happens.

Kakko was a 19% xGF tonight, lowest on the team. He had been trending positively in the fancy stats playing with better players the last few games even though the results weren't there. I'd rather Kakko play in the AHL if Quinn's plan is to keep Kakko on the 4th line for extended amounts of time.

Put Panarin back on the left side on the power play before I stab my eyes out.

Where are all the whiners that bitch about Hank after that stinker Georgie just laid on the ice?

I think some of it is “luck” catching up to them, but there are a number of guys who are not trending up from a month ago. Even the guys having good seasons have cooled somewhat.

Even if you take just a little off Strome, and a little off ADA, and a little off Buch, etc., eventually it adds up to 4-2 game vs. a 3-3 game or even a 4-3 Rangers lead.

How many times this season have we said that it was the worst officiating that we’ve ever seen?

I don’t believe for a minute it’s just incompetence.

Clearly, the league has ordered the refs to hurt the Rangers!

Professional wrestling is real.

The fourth line has been a dead zone for just about anyone playing there - especially the younger players. Andersson, Kakko, Howden, etc. Not excusing their struggles any, but it’s like taking air out of their floaties at this point.

Smith and McKegg are literally horrible hockey players. They play hard, great, but it doesn't really lead to anything and their offensive skills are at a AHL level. I'd rather just role with the punches of a 4th line of Kravstov - Andersson - Kakko and let them play for 11 minutes a game rather than have Kakko playing with the other 2 scrubs.

Howden too. Lias, Howden, Kakko in the AHL while we roll Smith-McKegg-Haley-Nieves hard in the NHL. Damn.

I used to feel ok that the fourth line would do something positive once in a while. Boyle. Moore. Even effing Carcillo. These current plugs bring shame to Sy Sperling

Refs were truly on another level tonight.
  • Only a 2 min minor for Ellis' hit on Buchnevich.
  • Fast for holding after being cross-checked 4 times while down on the ice.
  • Lemieux 10-minute misconduct for love tapping a player.
Banner night for officiating, IMO

Adam Fox is a God.

Also, "Let's Go Preds" chants were louder. Embarrassing
