We do push back. We've done it many times this year.

The debate here is whether or not we're scary enough when we're doing it which is silly.
Yeah, I guess we do......sometimes. But, I also guess that it was the lkst 2 pts and "the way" in which we lost is why everyone here is frustrated and clamouring for that talented goon thghat is nowhere to be found......other than in Washington.
Remember BEFORE Wilson showed up how Ovie used to "mix it up" and be a helluva lot more poo physical? Yeah, he is older now.....but somewhere along the line having Wilson there has allowed him to focus on what he really wants to do.

And again I will state that it doesnt "have to be" just 1 player defending other players.
Say Wilson crosses the line and "more importantly" get away with it via lousy reffing.......than why not have team unity and thro without the rest of the game MULTIPLE players go after him, a little bit at a time. Bite, bits, bits until he breaks or at the very least gets the message......that we will not be bullied.
I doesn't seem like the bulk of our roster has that type of physical game. I love our skill guys and wouldn't want to sacrifice more than one roster spot for a fourth liner. There are guys around who can adequately fill that role. Hell, Zac Rinaldo is still in the league.

If the referees didn't have their worst game in the NHL this season, we wouldn't be having this debate.

It's a non-issue.
It really IS.......as simple as that.
Like the song......the refs sang, prior to the game.
"Let's give them something to talk about".

Also......you know what deters teams from taking liberties?
A very, very powerful power play. A PP that teams don't wanna encounter nor try and endure.

If that is me right beside Jesper......I crosscheck the guy from behind telling him to get the **** off my teammate. That is what is disappointing, but then again, that's just me.
Could it possibly be that "we" (meaning the Rangers) expect the refs to see what "we saw" and penalize accordingly? Btw, how did J esper get a penalty? Absurd.

That's fine. But the player to do that doesn't have to be Colton Orr or a 'heavyweight'
