Da Gawd
Good pk, good period. Looked great during the first half of it. Lots of end to end hockey. Great stops by Hank. Need to score one soon though pls.
I'm afraid to jynx it but....where's our manditory stupid pyatt penalty?![]()
What 4th liner is good in all three zones? Asking for good offensive play out of Boyle is wanting play that you don't find in a 4th liner.
All the 4th line should do is just try and maintain possession in the offensive zone. Continue to cycle and kill time. Throw it at the net if they get a chance.
You want no 4th liners and want your bottom six filled with 3rd line guys that CAN play well in all zones. That's just not a realistic expectancy in a cap world.
You don't have to be "GOOD" to recognize an odd man rush or to make a simple correct play when leading the puck into the offensive zone, ESPECIALLY ON AN ODD MAN RUSH. If our defenseman can do it, so can he. period.
There's this thing called practices between games, maybe boyle has heard of that?
Why in the holy mother of **** is Moore scratched for that pylon Pouliot?
hehe, true thatAnton Stralman.
A better interview than Zuccarello.![]()
Pouliot may personify many pejoratives, but pylon is not one that comes to mind. Though the alliteration is appreciated.
hehe, true that![]()
I literally grimace whenever Al interviews anyone.
"Hey Anton, I don't know if you saw it, but here is a clip of you ****ing up not even seeing the puck only to be saved by Kreids. What do you think about that?"
My entire point is that you are being unrealistic with your desire to have a 4th line that is good in all three zones. How many teams in the league actually have a 4th line filled with guys who can play well in any zone?
Teams need to pick their battles w/r/t what play they want out of the 4th line. You can go for a line of fighters, a defensively sound line (which is what the Rangers went for), guys that are good offensively but very suspect defensively, etc. There are a million ways to skin a cat.
But there may be only a handful of teams that have a 4th line competent in all three zones (that may even be an overstatement). The Rangers went with a defensive oriented line (although Moore fits it a hell of a lot better than Poop does).
Pouliot may personify many pejoratives, but pylon is not one that comes to mind. Though the alliteration is appreciated.
Anton almost put the puck behind Hank, Al asked about it. It's his job. But i guess it's so fun these days to mock Al.
