I want Staal back though. Heck, I'll take a blind Staal to shut down Ovechkin.

When I read "It has begun" I imagine SHang Tsung from the MK movie saying it. No one can say it in as grandiose and as perfect a manner. Then the music from the 7th track on the album plays in my head...I think it's the seventh. It's like a weird techno remix of the MK song which the original continues to be sort of played ina renas to this day. That was a phenomenal soundtrack btw.

I hate this feeling no one is going to say **** about Staal, and all of a sudden Thursday he's going to be in the lineup ready to shut down Ovechkin.

The element of surprise is always a good strategy when going to war.

I went to the Winter Classic in Philly last year and from what I remember there was hardly any talk about Staal (coming back from the concussion) before the game and zero talk of him actually being in the lineup in the days leading up to the game. Yet Staal not only played, but was one of the Rangers better d-men in the game. One can only hope.

He's rather useless out there... Doesn't do anything well... He's not 'horrible' per se, just not adding much of anything out on the ice.... He seemed much better or more effective in the beginning of the season.

On paper, this team can be deeper and more balanced than last year's team especially if we are healthy. We really need Staal back(although McD's game has gotten better after a pedestrian year for the most part) and fans are going to love Dorsett once he gets healthy and in the lineup.
Hate to look that far ahead but once the season ends, Sather(and u know how much I hate him!) really needs to get Clowe and Zuccarello(who looks like a different player) resigned!
