I don't hate Pyatt or anything but like others have said be doesn't offer anything in terms of offense. Dorsett isn't a dynamo by any stretch of the imagination but outside of Powe, Boyle, and Pyatt all of our forwards can score at least a little.

I see this as an insecurity thing to be honest, he's trying to do some mind****ing and we all know a confident person uses their performance and talent over head games.... or maybe it's just a nod to Cooke..

I could care less how thick he is. Nash isn't exactly a mite either. They're power forwards. Jagr's massive ass won him many a game.

I'm not saying it reflects his performance or work ethic, and maybe it's something to do with genetics or age, but with the sheer amount of cardio these guys do, how they could possibly manage to keep any extra weight on them is unthinkable to me

how many goals did our bottom six score last season? The 14 different players that were our bottom six and even the guys that played on the top 2 lines when Nash, Callahan, Boyle, Richards were out scored...10 goals? Pyatt had 7 or so by himself. Expecting a bottom 6 player who does the dirty board work to score more than 15 goals in a 82 game season under Torts' system is ludicrous.

Plus- if you do step on someone, you are probably gonna miss the rest of the playoff series with a suspension.

By nighttime, he becomes Komrade Kolbasa. Can't have those sausages go to waste, so he eats them.
 
Also, I'm pretty sure that's just a Nike shirt. I doubt there's a pun intended.

I doubt OV's brain works well enough to think of that anyways.

I'm fairly certain the shirt is just a coincidence. The only thing that throws me off is that it doesn't seem witty or topical in any other context...

Talking about Ovechkin's attire makes me wish we started the series a little earlier in the week. What are we going to be talking about on hump day? Backstrom's long fingernails?

I don't see how stating that Clowe is a better top-9 option than Pyatt can be classified as "hate".

Pyatt has probably been the definition of "plug" this year; he doesn't really hurt us out there, but he doesn't add anything either. He's just... there.
