I like Holtby but man it pisses me off when he lifts his helmet for water. I don't know why lolz he just does it in every video I've seen after he's been scored on

He lifts his helmet and squirts water up in the air then watches it fall to the ice. I laugh everytime I see it.

Even the nhln on xm won't give Stepan credit, they just said Nash was our leading scorer. They like our depth and experience though. And of course Hank.

Just read that our series begins on Thursday, that a great break for us. If i goes 7 games the series will get tougher, we play 3 games in 4 nights, if it goes 6 & 7 those games are back to back. I haven't seen that since a Dallas Edmonton playoff series in 2001.

Just got 2 tickets for Saturdays game in D.C! Who's going down?

Man it sucks I'm going to be in Vegas from this Sunday until next Saturday, getting back late on Saturday. So I'm going to be stuck watching NBC coverage of 3 of the games in the series even though this is the only round covered on MSG

16 of Ovy's 32 goals are on the PP. Stay out of the GD box and win the series.

Thankfully, the Rangers are typically pretty good when it comes to discipline. Just another reason that Gilroy should see no playing time this series.

The back to back games could benefit the Rangers, especially since Henrik historically is great on the second of a back to back.

Caps fans as always overconfident. Most are saying Caps in 5. They also are under the impression that last year's team was FAR better than this year's. This year's team underachieved all year but has a much higher ceiling, IMO than last year's team. Plus last year's team was cold going into the playoffs this year's team is hot. How much I'd love a sweep, too bad it won't happen. I'll take Rangers in 6.

Don't feel bad, I live in Florida and have only gotten the MSG feed on center ice for a quarter of their games this year.

So much CBC announcers:cry:

Shut OV down and this series is winnable. This will be a very short series if he catches fire early.

Conversely, Washington has a lesser D corps compared to last year. Have to take advantage when one or both of Olesky and Hillen are on the ice. No Semin is also a plus. Crowd Holtby, get traffic in front and throw everything at the net.

Glad for Lundqvist and our injured players that the series starts on Thursday, but this is going to be a LONG three days.

Pretty anxious for this series. I have a good feeling about this team.

In all honesty doc is an solid announcer when he isn't near any devils fans/team... Pierre is a huge devils fan, but he does his best not yo let it mess with his analysis. Problem is his on the fly analysis is rarely accurate, in my opinion.

Still love hear Sam and Joe, but doc is solid as well... won't ruin the vibe... we're actually lucky he does NBC... we could have a total homer announcer doing these games

Pierre is a huge hockey fan. I don't get it when people say Pierre is a Penguins homer (and apparently now a Devil homer...?) or whatever. He gushes over our team and players just as much, have you ever heard him talk about Callahan, Lundqvist, McDonagh? He blew his load over Kreider in the playoffs last year. Talk about selective hearing.

Doc was an amazing announcer, but he's been clearly slipping the past two years or so. He can still come up with some memorable calls, but he's making a lot more mistakes and the play is getting a bit too quick for him.

At this point, I prefer Strader, who is an excellent, neutral announcer. He used to be the Coyotes PBP guy, but now he's doing the NBC if Doc isn't.

Also gotta love when Kenny Albert does NBC games as well.

Yes, Strader is great. Happy when he does the PBP instead of Doc.

It doesn't seem to matter if we are first or sixth, because we get written off.

Prove 'em wrong, boys.

If you're able to, go to the MGM Grand Sports Bar or even the Wynn Sports Bar. You'll be able to get the MSG feed. It may be hard to hear sound depending on what's going on (NBA playoffs, MLB, etc.) but at least you'll get the MSG cameras, graphics, etc.

I did that last month for a few games and it worked out great. No one (waitresses) even bothered me about drinks or betting.

Still surprised the series starts on Thursday.

Yea, and not too happy about it. Im off work Wed and Thursday so I could have enjoyed 1 or 2 (or 10) brewskies while watching game one. Can't do that now

And i'm working during game 2

Ugh and the first home game is at 730?

Thursday is a blessing(more time for injuries to recover, plus gives us much needed rest), and actually makes the schedule better for me(no more tuesday/thursday games after the first one, those nights are trouble for me), but who in their right mind makes games 6 and 7 of a playoff series back to back?! If it has to happen for one series due to schedules, fine, but FIVE!? That's just stupidity.

Hopefully we don't need the game 7, but if it comes down to it, that's going to be a hard game for both sides.

Hopefully the delay until Thursday gets some extra bodies in the lineup.

I absolutely LOATHE the fact that 6&7 are back-to-back nights though. I think that is absolutely preposterous.
