McDonagh is such a treat to watch. What is this guys ceiling? I think he'll be a Norris finalist this year.

It's amazing to end the Debbies season. Two years in a row and their tears tase great. Good thing the one true Lou is such an amazing GM. He'll certainly turn that team around...

i think he needs to be a top 10 point getter among dmen by the end of the year to be a nominee. at this point its keiths to lose but offensive dmen are overrated for this award so the other 2 will prob be high end point scorers.

Nice we going to the playoffs probably maybe. It would eb cool to matchup against Philly. Really happy we won a couple huge gmaes here the last couple days. If we win the games we're supposed to against the likes of Calgary and Edmonton we will be in good shape man

I know Philly are playing great but I have no faith in Mason or their defense. I think they will crumble in the 1st round if they run into a good defensive team.

Impossible. The only team from that division that we could play in the first round is the Bruins.

Yeah I forgot. The point of my comment still stands, though. Do not want to play them in the playoffs. It would be weird playing against Callahan, it's still weird playing against Dubinsky.

Not to mention we've scored against Bishop like once ever.

Also, because this.

Excuses all year.

The concussion was 6 months ago. If it was that bad, he shouldn't have been playing at all and should have sat out the year.

Also, should have skipped the Olympics.

If he steps it up for the stretch and the playoffs, all is forgiven. Until then, I'm not going to be swooning over the guy based on 2 games he's played hard in. Especially when I haven't seen that effort anywhere near where it should be for the entire season.

I played on LSU's rugby team last year. Keep in mind I was 20 at the time. Now I'm 21. I got a severe concussion in March of 2013. I was unable to function for a month. To this day I have headaches and dizzy spells almost on a daily basis, as well as constant mood swings. Concussions are nothing to **** around with. I've also only had 2 concussions in my life and I am diagnosed with PCS.

Give me a break. Nash hasn't show heart in almost all the games this year. I'll be the first to admit when he's played well, which he has the last two games.

But for the record, that does not nullify his overall poor performance for the majority of this year.

Let's hope he continue to be on a tear down the stretch.

Maybe Nash was pacing himself and was saving it for now. With the way Kreider is skating and Step is playing this line is dangerous.

I hated the Sens game. It's tough to hate a game where your team scores THAT MUCH, but if we played that way against any other team, we'd have been massacred. It so happens that the Senators are dismal.

But since Nash got such a harsh reception in Ohio, this team has looked pissed. They've had that chip on their shoulder, they've looked like that "us against the world" mentality finally hit.

I'm not the biggest fan of fighting, and I don't advocate keeping pure fighters on a hockey team. That said, Poo and Nash stepping up like that galvanized the team in a huge way. It wasn't Carcillo or Dorsett out there, it was two guys that, if they were fighting, something was really going on.

That was the attitude and the toughness that I missed SO badly. I NEVER thought it'd be Nash to reignite it. I swear, in my entire life I never expected to say these words, but, thank god for Ohio.

The Sens game was played that way cause the Sens take too many chances which leads to goals on both sides of the rink. We got 8 they got 4; nothing wrong with that when your opponent is basically playing with four forwards.

mcd got a secondary assist on the EN goal. somehow he passed it to henke who got it to stepan lol. mcdonagh is 15th in the league among dmen in points. hes 4 points away from kronwall in 10th. i really think hes gotta be top 10 in points to have a shot of a norris nominee. the only players with more points that would be deserving of a norris nominee IMO are Keith, Subban, Weber, and Pietrangelo. Weber is even debatable due to being on a **** team and having such a poor +/-. Im not sure what the worst +/- is for a Norris winner is but i cant imagine their being many winners with a negative +/-.

Pietrangelo has not played like a top 10 D this year.

If he gets nominated for a Norris it'd be a joke.

Watching replays, wow if Pouliot connected with Merrill fully that might've been one of the hits of the year.

Poo is a terribly under rated player. Don't know who he was before he got to us. Don't care. But he's damn solid man. Just solid.

Had some harsh critiques of him in another thread, but what I watched of him tonight in this game and last game, he's played well. I wish this was the way he played all the time. Numbers are great, but this kind of effort is controllable. This should be the way he plays all the time.

Boyle played well, used his size well.

Stepan continues to be extremely effective.

St. Louis owes these guys big.

I could have put 5 different players in the number three slot. I’m all about effort and Pouliot was really my number three. He was a beast. Just wanted to give Klein some recognition.

Like how Klein has quietly done his job very well. Solid player. Only if the newest acquisition would do what he was acquired for lol and I am not talking about Diaz.
