And he will probably shut us out tonightlost in the Hank is terrible hysteria, Price was pulled last night giving up 4 on 14.
Very fair post. I agree completely!Outside of the series against the Habs last year, Henrik has done very little to inspire confidence in quite some time. I understand the desire to have blind faith that he will still be great, but it's very, very likely that his days of dominance are over. Admitting this, or believing this, does nothing to cheapen his legacy, nor does it suggest some sort of lack of appreciation.
All I know is that I now cringe at shots coming through traffic, and no longer have 100% confidence that Hank is stopping every breakaway and penalty shot. It's a weird feeling to have after being spoiled for so long, but it seems to be the reality now and I'm coming to terms with it.

Reality is setting in with Hank, love him or not.
He played just as poorly as everyone in front of him. Is he fully to blame? No, but he was part of the reason.Literally Hank wasn’t the problem.
Benoit Allaire said it himself. Read post above and or watch the first two games, especially last night.
Agreed.Really hope ADA is not out for Holden. ADA is a rookie and needs to be playing. There will be growing pains.
Puempel and Lettieri are probably the first two I'd call up.I think Hank will have a good game tonight, he usually does after a bad game, even when they're back-to-back (see game 6, 7 against Philly in 2014)
Question: If Chytil gets sent back to the Czech Republic--as I and many others think he will--who comes up to replace him?
Miller shifts to C. Vesey up from 4th. Probably Puempel comes from HFD, allowing a second whack at losing the contract on waivers once Fast healthy.I think Hank will have a good game tonight, he usually does after a bad game, even when they're back-to-back (see game 6, 7 against Philly in 2014)

10 games or 30 days, right? If he is sent down within 30 days of clearing waivers, he doesn't have to clear again
That's just it. It's not only 4 periods of play. It's a continuation of what we saw from Hank for large parts of last season. Father time catches up to everyone eventually.Sure, all good points and I most certainly agree with you that his best days are behind him but I dont think it is blind faith asking people not to overreact after 4 periods of play into a new season.
