Why does Gauthier need to do to prove he needs more ice time? I feel like he’s creating offense every shift he has. He wins puck battles. He goes to the net. He creates separation with his speed. And yet every game he’s at 7-9 minutes. Like WTF

that's the crazy thing. Panarin, Zibanejad, Kreider, Laffy, Kakko, Chytil, Gauthier, Lemieux, and Howden are all performing well. It's a lot of bad ice time distribution and Strome killing Panarin's production singlehandedly.

That’s going to be impossible when Strome keeps giving the puck away to the other team.

Should have pulled it to the backhand, also think Panarin gave Alexis a pass that only a truly elite player could receive with aplomb. Time to start getting pucks on net.

In 3 games, he has 6 points. That's not just one good game.
Kakko has not looked bad at all. It’s still way too early to make that call. Look I get it many of our fans are neurotransmitter impatient but let’s wait and see after a weeks at least lol

I mean, you're probably going to see some line shuffling in the third.

But a lot of what you're seeing today is an 'off' day in classic form from Georgiev. 3 of the 5 goals he allowed, and 2 of the 4 that stood were really bad, and he was beaten badly by the simplest of breakaway from Hughes.

The high percentage chances have been pretty close otherwise.

Quinn is well on his way to ruining Kakko. Before Quinn got a hold of him you had a puck possession machine with elite board play and puck protection play who had swagger and could beat you in many ways. Confident in his abilities to try things and take chances.

Enter David Quinn who would love to have a team of 18 Brett Howdens, and through usage and messaging basically shattered any kind of confidence Kakko had and now he’s just trying to appease his coach so he can just get ice time. No confidence, no risk because he doesn’t want to get benched.

Strome has been shit but who are you bumping up and replacing him with? Knowing this coach it’ll be Howden getting second line minutes.
. Unfortunately our lack of center depth is the main radon why Strome is in the top 6. The one thing we haven’t been able to get in the draft is a legit C prospect

Only a matter of time before Quinn turns on Laf. Hell, Laf took a shift with Howden and Lemieux.

Does anyone actually want to hit Hughes? The guy is 170lbs soaking wet. He’s skating around untouched
Those guys are hard to hit without taking penalties

How many times have you seen Patrick Kane or Johnny Gaudreau laid out? And if you do its usually a big one and noteworthy

Hope Gorton is checking his desk drawers to see if he's forgotten about an old 2C that's still laying around. I'd take f***ing Step over Strome right now.
