Yeah, pick shouldn't stand as it's clearly outlined in the rules. Although I wish that rule wasn't in effect.
I made a trade
Vanilla you hater back offffffffffff
noobs, he's a RFA not a UFA
the pick is good just like Panarin last year

He was chosen by the Leafs in 2009.
The team contined to hold his rights.
He was drafted? Ah, never knew that.
Carry on.
Man this is like those trades that get announced like 30 minutes after the TDL is over due to paperwork needing to be processed and finalized.
I want to do trades but I'm too afraid of getting fleeced
My biggest need is for a true #1C. RNH and Plekanec are both semi-decent 1 C's, but would be much better as 2 C's. I like my D, really good at moving the puck up, and most are defensively sound (Suter is an amazing 2 way forward, Del Zotto took leaps and strides in Philly this year defensively according to Philly fans, Yandle and Severson are both adequate in their own end, Ceci is the only real liability),but I'd be ok moving one of them to better my Forwards, but I think I have a good enough top 6 depending on who I slot into my 2RW. Ugggghhhhhhh.... The draft did this to me last year too.
Just tell us ze tradessss ppl!
I know it's around Johnson and Spurgeon..
Principle is the same....
This year's rules...
UFA players that did NOT have a contract for the 2015/2016 season cannot be drafted. (Kovalchuk, Radulov etc..).
[*]The only exception will be NCAA players who have yet to sign. They can be drafted and salaries can be added later.
This was last year's rules...
Player Eligibility:
- Any player signed to an NHL contract
- Any player on RFA status currently waiting a contract extension or arbitration, in which their Qualifying Offer being their cap hit if not signed at the time of being selected.
- Current UFA's that were signed to NHL contracts last season, with their 14/15 cap hit being their cap hit if not signed at the time of selection.
