Ghost had 46 points in 64 games, in his NHL season at 23 years old.

The guy is one of, if not the most popular young d-men on HF boards. His stats are better then webers were this year PPG.

He's done it once though. Mike Green was PPG at one point.

He's a nice young piece on a good contract but not proven.

Seems like a lot of people were interested and I think you could've gotten a better package if you waited.... this is giving me flashbacks to JB trading Shinkaruk just cuz lol

I would not have taken that, Ghost + hudler is way better package for me. I value Ghost as high as every star D in the league.

Not a fan of schwartz at all.

Again, I hate the notion "I could have gave a better offer, yet they did not, and then when I find out what it is, it's worse then the offer I get"

Sorry dude don't mean to bag on your trade , if that's what you wanted than kool I'm glad you got what you needed .....but sadly imo your valuation is way off . You say that you didn't get offers , you pmd two hours ago on a work day that he was avail. You say that offers after the fact are worse !? Brock's , Huttons , and mine are absolutely not worse . I leave it at that ... I have no clue why I'm getting worked up over a pretend fantasy league

I did not rush, I pmed everybody yesterday, and on top of that I let people know (everybody in chat) that weber was available.

Going from the "packages" that have been offered here so far, I chose the right one

w/e I will run the team how I like it, the moment you guys saw Shinkaruk as my top line LW at the end of the year, you guys would laugh off my team.

I just think you played your cards wrong. Seems like you had a bidding war going for Laine, but instead you decided to trade Weber without really getting a bidding war going for him.


It's just for fun anyway and I do think Ghost is being sold a bit short here because a lot of people haven't seen him play enough. Hudler would have been a really nice addition last year before his value took a big hit.

imo Parayko + Fabbri would've been a sexier package for Weber

No doubt, he should have jumped all over that.

Also just about anything on my roster is available for the right deal. PM if interested

The bad cap hit players are basically gone already.

Anyhow it's your team, run it how you see fit.

Well at the end of the day it's your team so its up to you..

I just think you could've moved Price for more than you have right now...and losing Weber makes your team a lot softer

That is an interesting trade.
Both sides are high on Gostisbehere...
Which was why McHortton was able to obtain Weber...
And only needed to add a versatile...
But middling and inconsistent...
Winger.
He was also able to get back a relative early pick.

While I do understand the trade from LB's perspective...
Because his team is a little more balanced and experienced now...
I probably would have tried to get a player with a higher ceiling...
Instead of Hrudler...
Especially since the pick he send back is pretty close to now.

Oh well.
As long as both parties are happy...
I guess we cannot complain too much.
