I do agree. But the last game they were playing decent than he lets up a goal and it totally deflated the team. I think that's what the difference is. who knows what would've happened today. And i dunno who said it but he may need glasses and I think a one on one clinic on how to track far out shots, shots with traffic or something. Its weird one shitty goal and this teams whole demeanor changes. I get the feel Geo confidence issues is contagious.
Yep I agree. It isn't easy as a team when you know your goalie is gonna give up softie or two every game. The Subban goal (I think he gave up two softies that game), The Penguin games giving up goals without anyone screening him from pretty far out.

I feel like most people that eat Panera won't know Panarin but almost everyone who loves Dunkin is familiar with Pasta lol

i find Panera a very frustrating restaurant. People wait in line forever and only start reading the menu when it’s their turn to order.

“Does this sandwhich come with bread”. Why yes, we have 17 types of bread . . . are you a member of our awards club? Tell me more . . .

Patience followed by mass confusion is the Panera way.

Thankfully ours only had to deal with the KGB.

Holy crap, the Bruins get away with a lot of holding and picking. And they’re particularly good at drawing fake penalties. Do the refs get reviewed? I’d love them to have a look at Marchand jumping into Lindgren’s arm and feel shame.

What i loved about Buch way back in the WJC was the edge he played with. I think we need to start appreciating this guy. I loved after his goal that made it 4 - 0 that he not just snapped it past Halak but then he told that asshole Frederic all about it. Great stuff. Also, Trouba was a huge part of this. He was great today and is the kind of player that thrives against heavy teams and in playoff situation. Good win.
No. He sucks and will be traded. :sarcasm:

And what's with the half sandwich small soup thing? Does anyone think that's a complete meal?

Leafs and Habs do it a lot too.

How much of a difference did Kinkaid do against the Pens on Tuesday. Exactly.

Kinkaid does shit. Sure, he's not sucking unlike Georgiev, but if you can argue a player making a difference it was Panarin.

It was more just a matter of working in Kinky jokes. He made the saves on the few real chances the Bruins had today, and that's all we really needed.

While the Rangers were winning today, I was at cafe du monde eating beignets in New Orleans. I can only take this as a sign that I should continue eating fresh donuts daily.
Hurry back to the truck! You won’t believe it!

I also loved how Chytil, Laf and Kakko played together. They battled; they had chances and they stood up to the bull from the Bruins. btw, the Bruins should be shorthanded 15 times every game. They get away with a lot of obstruction and late hits.
I agree about how Boston plays. But also wish we could be more like them :) I love how they toe the line but rarely go over it.

Also to note, this is the second time this year we’ve given up zero high-danger scoring chances in a game at 5v5. The defensive turnaround for this group this season has been remarkable.

I know the offense has been inconsistent, but we’ve also gone long stretches, sometimes all of these overlapping, without Chytil driving possession in favorable matchups, Panarin being Panarin, and Mika being Casey Mittelstadt instead of one of the best goal-scorers in the league.

Nice game, now let's get the PP going.
Won't be easy with Fox on the first unit . He is slow dishing off and the lack of shooting by him . He may be better suited on 2nd unit . Outside of him though I don't know who can handle it . It's not a knock against him...I still consider him a rookie and it's unfair to compare him to Tony n that area....Tony was one of the best in the NHL outside of a small window this season .

Lafreniere and Kakko dominate the advanced stats again. Gawd, when is their puck luck gonna turn?

If I had seen better production out of Kakko and Lafreniere I’d be quite satisfied with this season despite the record. Winning on the backs of Zibanejad and Kreider doesn’t entirely do it for me though.

Quinn’s #1 job is to turn those two kids into Super stars. Nothing else really matters.

It's good that they're driving play but I can also see why they're not scoring. They get into the zone effectively but they're not very creative. I don't think Quinn knows how to teach NHL offense to guys who have never done it. Guys just kind of do what they do. That's good for guys like Panarin but I think we need somebody to bring in a plan with the puck the way Martin has established a plan without the puck.
