I think it's more along the lines of if Cossa plays his way into the lineup then they will make room for him.I turned the presser off, but did Steve say he wants to run 3 goalies again next season? Talbot/Petr/Cossa, and waive or trade the underperformer between Talbot and Petr.
Same old routine - The kids are the future, we default positions to the aged non-performing veteran over the kids in some they must earn it drivel. Kids get overripe as we continue to skate an inferior team because they are vets. We draft and collect mid-tier talent and never make trades to infuse talent or clear log-jams of prospects we have accumulated. We'll be in this unending pattern for the foreseeable future.I think it's more along the lines of if Cossa plays his way into the lineup then they will make room for him.
Otherwise Cossa will be in GR getting more playing time until he is ready.

We got rid of Mrazk once, I'm sure there's a long-term strategy to reacquire Husso as well - and some here will again celebrate the move.
He didn't mention that.I turned the presser off, but did Steve say he wants to run 3 goalies again next season? Talbot/Petr/Cossa, and waive or trade the underperformer between Talbot and Petr.

He is doing it to shit on Yzerman. But that might be the worst trade in Red Wings history.
I can be happy that Seider and Raymond were home run picks, that Edvinsson and Casper are looking very good, and that Johansson has been a pleasant surprise...You're free to feel your feels man. But I'm happy as a pig in S over here. You should walk the path of the Jedi bro, it's more upbeat on this side.
Pastrnak is a top 10 player in the NHL signed long term at a great cap hit and you think it would only take a single 1st, our like 4th best prospect and depth pieces…?Sens 2 pts , nyr 1
Time to tank and hopefully get 7-8th pick . Sucks but this season's over , we should have dealt lyon
Bruins are clearly tanking and in rebuild mode... wondering what it would take for pastrnak
1st +nygaard+plante+johansson ???

Rantanen got 2 1sts and 2nd rounder 5'8 stankovenYikes dude.
1. Pastrnak is a much better player than RantanenRantanen got 2 1sts and 2nd rounder 5'8 stankoven
Nygaard is one of our better prospects, plante was a 2nd rounder producing ... johansson has been one of our better dmen besides the obvious big 2
Nobody is going to give up 2 top end prospects, a really good younger roster player + whatever else your thinking
Not saying that specific proposal I wrote would get it done but I think it would be something similar
No team would offer a roster player like raymond edvinsson seider for pastrnak. A #1 prospect like asp .... you'll get a minten,Cowan type prospect from a top end team
Anyways it's just talk I can't see bruins dealing pastrnak for at least another 1-2 years unless he demands to be out
Wow, is this site working again?
First i thought, well Copp's out for rest of the season and this is his replacement. Then i thought, wait a minute, doesn't Smith still play in Nashville. Then i realized i got Smith and Sissons mixed up. I wouldn't mind Sissons, espesicially with that price but Smith. Seems bad and washed, high hopes from Stevie that Smith can help us in the playoffs.
Mrazek, welcome back i guess. I thought Lyon gets traded but he didn't. This is confusing....
Damn, damn, damn.... Zetterlund went dirt cheap. Wings should have been there, i would have paid more than the Sens did.
McCann would have been good fit, even with these prices i would have pulled the trigger. Bit risky perhaps but no guarantees that those mid 1st round picks would improve the team either.
Yzerman should have been more aggressive, McCann+Zetterlund would have been A+ haul. Disappointing TDL.

1. Pastrnak is a much better player than Rantanen
2. Stankoven isn’t just a a 2nd rounder, he’s a top prospect who’s miles ahead of where Plante is in terms of value
3. AJ is a bottom pair D player at this point on any good team.
Stankoven did before the NHL is way more impressive. He’s only in his D+4 scoring at a 40pt pace in his rookie season. You think he’s just not going to improve?Much? Na ... you can say you think hes a better play but hes not "much" better
Stankoven is 22 and in the nhl so yes hes ahead or plante . He hasn't proven squat yet. Might just end up being a 45ish pt forward
I'm sure alot of teams would take Johansson in a heartbeat if we called them
Point is no team will give up their #1 prospect or top young roster player like edvinsson seider raymond for pastranak . You'll get a top prospect off a contending team which wont be close to a #1 prospect on a team like us who's still rebuilding
Like I said , hes not going anywhere yet got the next 12-24 months anyways

And yes, what Pastrnak has done the last three seasons is MUCH more impressive than what Rantanen has done. It’s not even debatable
I can be happy that Seider and Raymond were home run picks, that Edvinsson and Casper are looking very good, and that Johansson has been a pleasant surprise...
... and still be frustrated that the team is going nowhere in terms of improving in the standings.
