Ya just sucks man even the release and how it hit the corner ... thats what we all were hoping for here instead all we got is a bunch of shots missing the net lol

oh well get what your saying with the weaker league, for sure that helps ... doubt we ever see him again in the NHL but I wonder if theres chance he someday attempts a comeback ... must be what 25?

Ya I'm sure hes done ... could be worse man, if I was a hockey player I'd much rather spend 10 yrs in Europe playing hockey than the ahl, hes bound to be happy there
For sure, Switzerland in particular is awesome with the train system, etc, you can travel really easy. Like I said, Home after almost every game, literally. More money. Way better to go play in Switzerland. But he's right, the league itself is a little down because they only allow a certain amount of import players. More than half the teams have Swiss born players and they just aren't that good drawing from less than 9 million people.

Fabbro has been good for jackets so far, small size but stings a little.

Seems like buying chumps in free agency is not as good as just getting the Fabbro, Liljegrens of the world.

For every Fabbro or Liljegren that works out in a new environment there is probably a dozen zadina’s, or yakupovs that don’t.

For sure, but I'd rather try that than what we have been doing and signing bad ufas 2-4 years.
Fabbro was definietly one I would have taken a flyer on for a low pick. Liljegren was probably a no go just because of him being a Leafs guy. With Nashville being a WC team I would have tried for him.

One player who's cheap at $3.15M and a 2025 UFA is Brian Dumoulin in Anaheim. Playing on the top pair and his play has actually been really good this season. 6'4, can skate and move the puck

[5v5, Minimum 150 minutes on Anaheim]
33.33% starts in OZ (3rd on team)
46.6 xGF% (4th on team, 1st among D)
380 minutes played (1st on Ducks by 26 mins)

If we're trying to clinch a playoff berth (assuming that's the case since Lalonde), we should grab him and maybe ship a ripe ol' Petry their way and some young assets to benefit them. Can be a cheap 1-2 year re-sign, turns 34 next September

Ya I dont want anything to do with that guy when I hear dumoulin all I remember is my friend who's a pens die hard fan always losing his mind b*itching how much he hated dumoulin and how much he sucked ... seriously thought he was gonna have a heart attack lmfao

It's a no for me on that alone hahaha

Montreal gave it to him. It persisted through all his trades.
We can just put some guards in front of the arena and not let him ... he'll get the hint

I could see a scenario where the Jackets are closing in on a wildcard spot, so they hold on to Provorov but end up trading his rights in June. He’s refined his game somewhat, he might be a good #3/4 alongside ASP.
