I’ve watched a handful of prov games. Lysell deserves a look. He is an nhl talent as far as I’m concerned. I like his potential more than merkulov. His skating is ridiculously good.

Why haven't they brought Lysell or Merkulov up for more than a cup of coffee ?

I think they want lysell to chip pucks deep and stop stick handling into two/three players.

I feel like merkulov needs a look. They might not like his mobility and size. He is really effective on the pp in providence. 29th in the league in pp you would think they would be calling him up…

I’d do it. They’re both in their prime and there’s enough ice time for two RW to get 16/18 minutes per game, IMO.

Just means the 3/4 RW get less ice.

Marner has played some center as well. Hell he’s played defense in game as well and I mean the position. Lol

Given where they are, finding out what they have in this player Is logical, common sense.

I want the Bruins to lose and keep losing, as profit or lack thereof is the only language ownership understands. The ATM has to malfunction before significant change occurs.

He’s probably a 25-40-65 kind of kid who lights it up in the playoffs and we hate playing against him for 15 years

It won’t happen, of course…..but Ovi isn’t getting any younger and sometimes you’ve got to strike while the iron is hot.

Maybe I’m underestimating them, but I don’t think the Caps as presently constituted win the East.

But add in a Marchand, maybe a Coyle, Carlo or even a Zacha (not that I want him moved) and that moves the needle a bit.

I can hear it now, "we decided to keep our free agents and use them as our own adds." Can't remember the logic/wording but that would be the worse thing for them to do. 100% standing pat is pure laziness and fear.

Ryan Leonard will be part of that help. Short of McAvoy or Pastrnak, in a strictly player for player deal they aren't trading Leonard.

That would be an interesting offer. Some really nice players in that draft year outside of Bedard.

Leo Carlson went 2nd overall I believe, maybe that’s who Sweeney trying to pry from Verbeek. This team needs an infusion of youth with skill.
