Considering everyone agreed with him but you, I'd say it did.
It was a good effort and right now he is doing to help this team in other ways. On the tying goal he helped by throwing his body around to create some chaos in the offensive zone.Vrana cuts to the net: beautiful goal
Vesey buts to the net: knocked off his skates fails miserably
+/- doesn't tell the whole story. And using the best player in the game is probably the best way to prove that, yes.
I don’t want to trade him. I really like Skjei, but he deserves some of the criticism he’s been getting. One goal does not completely absolve him of his mistakes.
Howden is just straight up more physically giftedHowden at 20>>>Stepan at 20.
No it doesn't because plus minus is a bad stat. You can be a good player with a bad plus minusTeams play in units of 5 even more so in today's game so if you're a minus on a regular basis (ZIB -6!!), it's a problem and something can't be ignored..
You just love to go to extremes to try and make a point simply because that's the only way you can continue a POS of an argument.
It never works!!
Clueless about hockey? What if someone uses +/-, advanced metrics, and the eye test combined? Of course you can’t just use +/- by itself. It never tells the whole story. But what stat does?True, it's a good barometer to detect people that are clueless about hockey.

Did Sam not hear the ping on that one from Strome?
Rings :pWhat does that mean? Maybe I’m getting old at 30 haha.
Oh..You mean the stat people?
Yeah, that makes for a valid argument lol.
Just let it go man.
I've smacked around the biggest stat freaks this board has to offer already so let's agree to disagree.
K? Thanks
Using Ovechkin to prove a point is using an extreme? Because he's a good player? You can't get past the fact that he's a good player and can't actually think about the actual point we're talking about.
