He goes off assumptions and "what they've done in the past" and it's ALL 100% based on his opinion - there is no insider information there.

Where were ANY of those guys when we actually traded for Manson?? It came out of nowhere and the same could be said for Lehkonen. Now after-the-fact, oh yeah it's easy to say "they've been after him for a long time" (especially when the acquiring team feeds you that information) and then it almost makes is seems like you knew the whole time, but they didn't. They are super full of shit.

I hope you're right, and I know we can take some comfort in how often Friedman's Colorado rumors don't materialize.

I'm still concerned. It's one thing to talk about Lindholm/Tanev/BigDeadlineTargetX and lump the Avalanche in with a half dozen other teams. It's another to link the Avalanche, and only the Avalanche, to two specific players who to my knowledge haven't appeared on any trade deadline boards or in any other rumors.
