IF we were to trade for Hanifan a Girard+ trade where Hanifan signs a similar deal to Hampus Lindholm wouldn’t be the worst..
Cody Ceci confirmed.High dollar defenseman from the great white north.
Oh yea, Hanifan. Another member of the "switch a vowel" club. Other famous members are Pierre Dorian and Conor Timmons.Hanifan
Just listened to 32T, and didn't hear him mention the Avs with NH once.Allegedly Friedman has heard Avs are a dark horse on Hanifin.
He is kind of like that but I think he has a higher offensive ceiling. He's producing pretty well without necessarily being fed a ton of minutes or PP time.Seems like he might be a bit redundant. Reminds me a bit of Colton. I don't watch him enough though tbh.
Decent guess...I think he's heading to Toronto though. If they trade him.Savard? Although I wouldn't call him high dollar.

It was on the Marek Show... I recorded it on my phone but it's 26MB.My buddy who’s a flames fan sent me a message in it, so I just took his word for it.
Yeah he did mention COL on Hanifin but it was just "something he could see the Avs being interested".My buddy who’s a flames fan sent me a message in it, so I just took his word for it.
Litterally his whole shtick with the Avs. Big name... have to tie Avs to it.Yeah he did mention COL on Hanifin but it was just "something he could see the Avs being interested".
Gotta agree - for all the stuff that he's speculated on about the Avs over the years, he's batting for like .000Litterally his whole shtick with the Avs. Big name... have to tie Avs to
Friedman every year:Litterally his whole shtick with the Avs. Big name... have to tie Avs to it.

I think his view of the game is pretty interesting in general. I don't really use him for rumors, but really like the questions he asks as a reporter versus some of the other guys. He's got a positive and unique spin without being a clone of every other hockey analyst or reporter. He sits between the likes of Dreger and Chiclets. Him and Jeff Marek own it and no one else is really in their league IMO.I don’t know what Friedman does than everyone else can’t do. He just pretty much speculates or breaks news when something happens
Worked out pretty well for that last guy who joined the Avs late in the season and decided to stick around for one more year afterParise can probably play another year. He should stick around for one more season if Avs don’t win the cup this year to give it another try. If we do win the cup then he can retire. He did say this is his last year though so…
The Friedman hate on this board is becoming ridiculous TBH.I don’t know what Friedman does that everyone else can’t do. He just pretty much speculates or breaks news when something happens
I'd LOVE for the Avs to get their hands on Ridly Greig. I think the cost would be high but that kid has flashed a lot to me this season - every time I've seen him, I'm like woah nice play, who is that? I think he's gonna be really good.
Friedman is doing his job... but it doesn't mean people should take him seriously here. When was the last time he broke anything related to the Avs?The Friedman hate on this board is becoming ridiculous TBH.
What else he's supposed to do? He's filling a 1.5h podcast twice a week + a blog + tons of TV apperances. He's not going to do that with breaking news only.
He's doing what they all do: speculate and report what they hear. Considering that he's almost always the first to report trades and contract signings it's pretty clear that he has good sources.
When he says Colorado is interested in something he hears that from teams other than Colorado. If CMAc is calling the Leafs and offers Drouin, he'll know that Colorado is shopping Drouin.
Yeah I'm not surprised... and that's gonna cause his BFF to be even more unhappy !Same. Impressive but not in a flashy way but more reminiscent of Sam Bennett with Florida. Perfect target. The big problem is, Ottawa wants to move Norris instead.

I'd not call being on duty 24/7 always on high alert to be the first to break everything "easy". That guy is always working. He has an easy job that’s all I’m saying
