[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

That’s a puck possession team. They play on the move. They got us running around a little bit and tired bodies, we couldn’t come out together, especially in the 2nd.
Guys were stuck out there too long and we couldn’t put the puck where we needed to get some sustain, get some pressure.
- Martin St. Louis

Even though we didn’t create that many chances the first two periods, I felt we were more in control this time than last tie we played them and we worked really hard.
In the end, we came pretty close.
- Henrik Lundqvist

We were ready for this game but they made a couple more plays offensively and defensively than we did.
Obviously we would have preferred a different outcome.
- Alain Vigneault

I have such a hard time supporting a team where the coach is not putting in his best lineup because of ego. The thing is, it's clearly an ego play. If it were Torts, I can see Glass being a Torts guy. Torts is like a little kid, he doesn't know any better. AV is actually a smart coach that doesn't play a prehistoric type of game, there's clearly factors outside of what's best for the team in play here. No way he thinks that Tanner Glass is our best option.

Flu like symptoms? Saving face I guess. What's the endgame with AV?

Hopefully the 4th line has an absolutely amazing game, along with the 3rd line. AV can't possibly go back to Glass if that happens.

As much as I disagree with Glass playing constantly, there is absolutely no way this is an ego play.

"Flu like symptoms" reminds me of that scene from The Office where Michael is faking being sick and Toby tells him "You know Michael, sometimes my daughter's stomach hurts when there's a mean girl at school."

IN AN UNEXPECTED TURN OF EVENTS, THE GREATEST THING OF ALL TIME HAS HAPPENED!

(Get well soon Tanner, but never play again for the Rangers.)

Do you really think that a coach who is not Torts would actually think he's a better option than Stempniak? Even his conventional stats suck. Glass was an AV guy and he's saving face by playing him. Or he lost his mind. Which one is more likely?

A little OT, but when I was a kid my "stomach hurt" practically every day miraculously coinciding with my dad coming to pick me up from school.

Sorry, there is absolutely no way that AV is playing Glass to save face. He clearly think the team needs the element he's supposed to bring to the game.

There is absolutely no way you are going to get me to agree with this conspiracy theory.

AV also added that flu like symptoms were notices in Rangers fan base everytime Glass the ice. Symptoms mainly consistent of a strong desire to throw up.
