Maybe trade for Meier could be a good idea for a playoff stretch than trade him at the off season cause Bs cannot signed him ni cap space...
the issue is to qualify him and retain his rights is a 10M contract. Thats a tough one for anyone.

Big question would be if he'd be tradable prior to July with that $10m QO looming. It'd be a big problem if no one would take him, but if you win the cup, who cares?the issue is to qualify him and retain his rights is a 10M contract. Thats a tough one for anyone.

I’m surprised anyone thinks Gavrikov and klingberg are better at playing defence than chychurn.I do not like Chychrun's lack of d, never mind his injury history. There are other options, like Klingberg, to add offense especially to improve the pp. Money can always leave via a trade or two. In the long run, better keeping Lohrei is my guess. I like Gavrikov. He would be an upgrade on everyone through Carlo. I keep Grizz.
Gavrikov for sure.I’m surprised anyone thinks Gavrikov and klingberg are better at playing defence than chychurn.
meier or konecny would be the fowards to go after.
maybe see if theyll take hall and whatever else
I happen to like having 7 top six forwards. Why in the hell are we trading Hall and why would either team want him for their younger player? We do not need another top 6 forward, we have 7 easily
I am not sold on Chychurn in Boston, or in a big market. Plus he'd be on the bottom pairing. Makes me think of how exposed OEL became outside of Arizona marketI’m surprised anyone thinks Gavrikov and klingberg are better at playing defence than chychurn.
I'd give up a few years of mediocrity. To have another duck boat parade. But every move comes with risk. Ala Rick Nash.I will guarantee you that even if the Bruins won the cup having giving up assets for him and getting nothing for him a solid percentage of this place would lose their shit.
Ive seen it before.Here.
Zboril would need waivers to go to Providence.. However, I ask, why isn't Jakob Zboril playing (even on rotation)? Does he not want to do a conditional stint in Providence to at least play? I don't blame Montgomery, their D has been real good this year.

I think zboril isn’t getting games because he can’t seem to get shots through to the net. Monty loves offence from the defence it seems. Seems like the defence is used a lot more this season.I can see Boston trying for Max Domi again, but I feel the longer they wait, the higher the price. In that case, not worth it.
Luke Schenn would be a good addition. However, I ask, why isn't Jakob Zboril playing (even on rotation)? Does he not want to do a conditional stint in Providence to at least play? I don't blame Montgomery, their D has been real good this year.
Troy Stetcher is another RD I'd look into. But make me wonder about Stralman ... if he was playing more in Providence, then THAT would be a solid addition.
Mike Reilly : Hopefully he can be dealt. Unfair right now, but it is business. If not, he would still be a good addition in the playoffs

RORIf you guys had to pick between the two veteran centers rumored available, that being Toews and O'Reilly, who do you pick?
1. Toewes with double retention is my #1 target with Smith/Reilly also going out
2. Tarasenko would be the homerun swing I'd go for if the Blues were sellers, would cost 1st +Lysell with retention
3. Schenn for Zboril
Marchy-Bergy-Debrusk
Zacha-Krejci-Pasta
Hall-Coyle-Tarasenko
Foligno-Toewes-Frederic
I hear you.....it would be dream situation, Hall-Tarasenko 3rd line is nuts!I’m all for Toews but I think Tarasenko is just dreaming.
I would go with Domi, Henrique, or Horvat. If you guys had to pick between the two veteran centers rumored available, that being Toews and O'Reilly, who do you pick?
Tarasenko isn't nearly the player he used to be, I wouldn't give up the house for him. their are better options out there.1. Toewes with double retention is my #1 target with Smith/Reilly also going out

Domi is intriguing, plays all 3 positions and could slot up and down the lineup as needed.I would go with Domi, Henrique, or Horvat.
Toews easy, it will be harder to work out because of the cap hit, but ultimately I think the player will cost less than Oreilly. I also think Toews would actually do well in BOS, outside of a 2/3 year stretch (that unfortunately lined up with 2019) ROR is about as overrated a player that there is in the league. If you guys had to pick between the two veteran centers rumored available, that being Toews and O'Reilly, who do you pick?
Brings some much needed speed. Pain in arse to play against. Perfect bruin.Domi is intriguing, plays all 3 positions and could slot up and down the lineup as needed.
