Big question would be if he'd be tradable prior to July with that $10m QO looming. It'd be a big problem if no one would take him, but if you win the cup, who cares?
I will guarantee you that even if the Bruins won the cup having giving up assets for him and getting nothing for him a solid percentage of this place would lose their shit.

Why the heck is Konecny constantly mentioned in this thread?
The guy is signed through 2024-25 on one of the best contracts in the NHL. He's their leading scorer (ppg), and the heart of their young core. Is there some weirdo rumour out there I've missed that he wants out or something?
Did we all scream for him to be taken the year that shall not be named? Obviously. But that's over. They aren't trading him to us, lol. That would take more than it cost for Horvat, by a good margin.

I can see Boston trying for Max Domi again, but I feel the longer they wait, the higher the price. In that case, not worth it.
Luke Schenn would be a good addition. However, I ask, why isn't Jakob Zboril playing (even on rotation)? Does he not want to do a conditional stint in Providence to at least play? I don't blame Montgomery, their D has been real good this year.
Troy Stetcher is another RD I'd look into. But make me wonder about Stralman ... if he was playing more in Providence, then THAT would be a solid addition.

I am not sold on Chychurn in Boston, or in a big market. Plus he'd be on the bottom pairing. Makes me think of how exposed OEL became outside of Arizona market

Zboril would need waivers to go to Providence.
Don't think Chychurn is what this team currently needs either.

I think zboril isn’t getting games because he can’t seem to get shots through to the net. Monty loves offence from the defence it seems. Seems like the defence is used a lot more this season.
Chychurn blocks shots, has a great shot, he is big and strong and can quarter back the pp. He is even +6 this season on a brutal team. I don’t understand why anyone would think he isn’t worth adding if possible. Not that’s it’s possible. But a top four with mcavoy, Carlo, lindholm, chychurn is disgusting.
1. Toewes with double retention is my #1 target with Smith/Reilly also going out
2. Tarasenko would be the homerun swing I'd go for if the Blues were sellers, would cost 1st +Lysell with retention

Tarasenko isn't nearly the player he used to be, I wouldn't give up the house for him. their are better options out there.
Domi is intriguing, plays all 3 positions and could slot up and down the lineup as needed.
Toews easy, it will be harder to work out because of the cap hit, but ultimately I think the player will cost less than Oreilly. I also think Toews would actually do well in BOS, outside of a 2/3 year stretch (that unfortunately lined up with 2019) ROR is about as overrated a player that there is in the league.
