Rumor: 2026 Trade Rumors and Free Agency: Offseason Edition

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.

I don't know why Detroit did this. Lombardi should be in the NHL next season. I know he's about to lose waiver exemption. But what's the point of drafting a guy with a 4th round pick, developing him for a few years, and then trading him for another 4th round pick?

No. Going "All In" has been an abysmal failure. We need to rethink things.
This team is going to suck ass by 2030-31. Go all in, trade vets in the future for picks. Same as it ever was, you can't have your cake and eat it too. Either you go all in or you rebuild. Not everyone can be Vegas and OKC and have the commissioners looking out for you.

Lmao is that Donovan McNabb
I asked AI to put Darnell Nurse and Morgan Rielly in the back seat.

I admit... I have to take my glasses off and then kinda squint to make it work. Sort of like those old posters that would try to sell in every freaking mall in america in the 90s where you had to cross your eyes to see the picture.
