Yes I’m very high on bothI like that Novotny or Morozov kid if they are there.

EF mentioned today it will be interesting to see what Ottawa does with those picks they just got.
He threw out the idea of offer sheeting. Like Jason Robertson.
Not to throw shade, just my opinion, but I dont see the point of the Bs trading a Zacha or Geekie for a top pick this year and not help now. They arguably need 3 pieces. You trade one of those two guys it becomes 4 pieces.
Totally open to moving Zacha with that extension looming in a trade that makes sense. Geekie is on such a solid cap hit even with his inconsistencies. But Id move him for the right price.
They must be misinformed then! If Samoskevich returned a 1st and 2nd and Tkachuk returned three 1sts and a 2nd, then Geekie's value is somewhere in the middle.Geekie sucks if you read this place - you aren’t getting a first for him
NFW you get EP40 for either of those two alone, you’re on a roll today and it may be time for a wellness checkNo way. Draft draft . Get ep40 without retention and send korpi out for a 7th round pick to plug him in. Without retention ep40 might cost you just a lohrei or Poitras .
Well however it gets done I wouldn't mind ep40 I think with pasta he can pop 90 points. Buy low on this guy and bring him in if your not rebuilding.NFW you get EP40 for either of those two alone, you’re on a roll today and it may be time for a wellness check
Brandon Bussi just beat Carter Hart in the Stanley Cup. They aren’t going to stress over goalieFlorida has no goalie. Let's call a spade a spade right now. I'm not giving them anything at this point of the offseason. Ottawa just got worse, Tampa just got worse, Detroit is going to get worse with Larkin gone. I look at this as a positive. But let's focus on Florida for a quick sec.
Barkov, just missed basically an entire season with an injury- which he's prone to miss time over the last few years.
M. Tkachuk can't stay healthy to save his life.
Marchand is 38 years old, what's he going to look like this season after coming off a injury riddled season?
Outside of their top 3D, it's pretty baron behind that.
I repeat, they don't have a starting goalie nor a back up signed right now.
This trade means nothing to me other than those two clowns playing together in Florida. Hope they enjoy rolling into Boston with Zadorov, Jeannot, Kastelic ready to welcome them with open arms.
Bruins, be aggressive on the trade front, draft well, play some young guys this season and I'm expecting 100+ point season.
seems a third of Bruins fans want to go all, a third want to blow it up and do a complete rebuild, a third which I’m in are draft & develop compete now but make good decisions not wild swingsThey must be misinformed then! If Samoskevich returned a 1st and 2nd and Tkachuk returned three 1sts and a 2nd, then Geekie's value is somewhere in the middle.
Would be awesome if the Bruins could get both firsts, draft a D at #9 then if the Bruins are interested, draft both Ruck twins at #23 and #25,
It's hard to see the Bruins making that type of deal though especially if they want to compete as fast as possible.
Not just that, but they have 7m in cap space, and then they also are probably going to move one of Luostarinen or Rodrigues (since they only have one top nine spot for either of them and putting one on the fourth line is a bit of a waste), so that's 10m in cap space with only two extra forward spots and two goalie spots left to fill.Brandon Bussi just beat Carter Hart in the Stanley Cup. I agree if your not getting a 1c tear this down to the studs you can't win without being deep down the middle. So they are looking to re sign Zacha, Peeke, Arddvisson. At the same time as being linked to Ristolainen, Trochek, Nurse Anddersson etc. What are they doing?! If they can't afford to make a trade for a first line centre which is the biggest need then why not say goodbye to ardvisson, trade Zacha for a first and a prospect and trade middlestadt for whatever you can. Then use a first etc to trade Elias Lindholm and see who is interested in Hampus. Use some assets to aquire players like Whitecloud, Zellweger, Tippet, Wright etc. and use this year to hopefully break players in, see if you have a 1st and 2nd line centres in house and rebuild the middle six. If Pastas mad then too bad. Sell him at the deadline for 4 firsts.
I’m starting to think neither of these guys will be on the board sadly.

I remember telling everyone I want bleyl with the first and ppl telling me he is a reach in the first. Now it looks like we will be lucky if he makes it to 23. His skating is nothing short of majesticI remember mid-season I was saying "one of Lin, Villeneuve or Blyel" should be there, and now I'm not sure any of them will be.
I think we underestimate Geekie's value around the league. Thats a lot of goals per cap dollar.
That’s a ton of players to move off a playoff team. Do u think they won’t be in playoff contention?Hampus Lindholm, Mason Lohrei, Andrew Peeke, Elias Lindholm, Sean Kuraly, Casey Middlestadt, Pavel Zacha, Korpisalo should all be on different teams next year... Maybe not Zacha but you have to look at what you will get for him which would be a lot
I wouldn't rip to studs Don but get rid of the dead weight and add speed, skill and youthI agree if your not getting a 1c tear this down to the studs you can't win without being deep down the middle.
Anyone's movable with a first and prospect attached. They may make the playoffs only to be embarrassed come playoff timeThat’s a ton of players to move off a playoff team. Do u think they won’t be in playoff contention?
Elias isn’t movable. His contract and injuries will probably land him on ltir in a a couple years.
That’s true. They could move him if he waives his ntc and they add a first. I’m not dying to add firsts at this point. If they are contenders then moving firsts makes sense but until then I hold them.Anyone's movable with a first and prospect attached. I truly feel this team has the weakest center group in the league Donny is running out of time with pasta this is a crucial year .I wouldn't rip to studs Don but get rid of the dead weight and add speed, skill and youth
Elias is a waste of a roster spot and almost 8mil a year. Have to sacrificeThat’s true. They could move him if he waives his ntc and they add a first. I’m not dying to add firsts at this point. If they are contenders then moving firsts makes sense but until then I hold them.
Yeah I'm not sure if "changed forever" is true. I don't think O6 has particularly mattered much in since the 80s.
Good teams attract players. AZ is warm in the winter and has a 2.5% tax rate and had to shut down. Because they sucked. Minnesota is cold and has higher tax rates for millionaires than Massachusetts, but it's been on everyone's "yes" list this offseason.
When the Bruins are good, they will be attractive to teams. Being able to walk to the rink, Warrior, and being a good city to raise a family, etc will all play up if the team can win.
The Bruins couldn't attract crap when everyone knew the ownership was cheap and not serious about winning. Then they got good and players started choosing Boston. Now they are mid and it's not a destination to force yourself, too. It's places like WPG that have trouble even when they are good attracting folks to come that you feel for.

Seems like they are in some way missing something. Need wingers for Krejci, partner for MacAvoy, Less toughness, more toughness, more speed and skill, more draft picks and prospects. Then not have enough in the cupboards to get the top players but hey let's not play or develop the prospects that they hold onto forever.Personally looking forward to the additions of AJ Greer and Radko Gudas. 6 years ago they needed toughness to compliment the skill, now they need skill to compliment the toughness so I expect some more toughness (not a bad thing as they add 2 fast top 6 forwards and 2 top 5 defensemen).
