They probably would consider moving a roster player right? Could they move Lundell?
They will move Rodrigues to free up another $3M. With the $10M they will sign 2 league minimum guys like Nosek and still have $7M to resign Tarasov at $1.5M and then a retained Binnington to further intensify the hate that will follow them around for the next few years.

MacTavish doesn’t solve any of the bruins issues tho.

Does he kill penalties? Does he improve scoring from the back end? Does he add speed and skill? I say no to all.
He's 23 years old with 181 points in 304 career games.

I think he would certainly add skill with plenty of room to develop as well.

I'm in the camp of adding young players. If we can get any combination of Nemec, Tippett and Mctavish I wouldn't mind it. Take a chance on a couple young guys and see if they can be pieces to build around hagens/letournau

I would not - gotta think Bob comes back - grab Anderson ??? There are goalies floating around

Florida has the best roster, regardless of who ends up in their net. But they have a lot of guys with injury history and a lot of miles. I still have Carolina above them.

As far as all the Bruins stuff. I’m fine with Nurse and EP40 if they have retained money, but not at the expense of one of our top forwards. I’ll keep saying this all offseason, we need more top players, not switching them up.

You just said it yourself it’s a team game. How do you expect one player to propel his team to the playoffs every year? You should go check the teams he’s played on since he first came into the league with Ottawa. They have been pure trash. He’s an amazing player who could be one of Floridas top players.

if you take into consideration the shortage of available talent, the current position we are in as a hockey club and Zacha’s attractive current cap hit we will probably regret not maximizing a return by trading him. He would undoubtedly fetch far more than he is worth.
If you're taking into consideration the current position we're in as a hockey club he might very well have more value to Boston than a team would be willing to offer in trade.

That’s a completely different issue. According to this subset of posters Bruins won’t even make the playoffs because of how much better all the other teams in the division are getting.
Is that not somewhat logical point people are making? It’s definitely a possibility especially if you believe the Bruins overachieved last season.

Until Florida puts a goalie on the roster I'm not overly concerned. That's a team that dealt with a bunch of injuries last year. A lot of people talking as though they come back as the team they were two years ago. If they make a strong goalie move I'll be more inclined to think that way.

Barkov missed the entire year…. And they got hit hard by the injury bug. Healthy Barkov and if the team stays some what healthy they don’t really need a big name goalie in net.

I suppose if we want to stay in purgatory you are right. I also believe that is what the Bruins will decide to do.
