All the more reason I am glad the Bruins weren’t on his list and they didn’t give up that package. He will be the 5th or so best player on that Panthers team which is probably where he should slot in on any team to be most effective.
That’s a wild take. Brady is the best power forward in the league who can score goals and brings leadership. You saying he should slot in as a fifth best player on team to be most effective is an absolutely garbage take and does not give credit to how good he actually is. He was a ppg player last season has scored 30 plus goals multiple times while playing on some pure garbage Ottawa teams.

Mine went up by $8
They are shameless
Just building on this and keepin it cheap

What if
Kastelic moves up to 3rd/2nd line
Kuraly out for Poitras
Sign Lomberg at a comparative/actual bargain as a UFA

2nd/3rd line
Geekie Minten Kastelic

4th line
Lomberg Poitras Jeannot
Kastelic as a third liner would be worth a shot, but playing 4th line is fine, anything higher is a reach. Poitras should be 3rd at least or move him.

Their a little different than the Bruins, they have talented players locked up for sometime.

Worst prospect pool, with the talent and contracts they have in Florida that’s the least of their worries. They’ll be Cup Contenders for the next 4-5 yrs!

Doesn't Florida have 7M in cap space?

He has never made it out of the first round. He's definitely a good player but theres some Paul Bunyan shit going on when this dude has NEVER EVER WON ANYTHING. He missed the playoffs his first 6 years in the league. I know it's a team game but like that track record stinks.

He is a dumbass who does dumbass things while being a good player and playing with jam. But tossing around "best" is nuts when there are dudes out there outpacing him like crazy or offering 75% of what he does with no headaches and for way cheaper.

They haven’t won a cup since 2011, so the doom and gloom is pretty on point. How many times have the Bruins made it out of the second round in the last five years?
That’s a completely different issue. According to this subset of posters Bruins won’t even make the playoffs because of how much better all the other teams in the division are getting.

Olympic gold medalist Brady Tkachuk has never won anything? Im not crazy about the player either but this is a poor take.

Who do you have making the playoffs next season, as it stands today, June 22nd, 2026?

Showing them with 7 million at this moment I just looked. They have 6 UFA ( all bottom 6 guys) if you count Cal Foote ( not sure about him) & 2 Goalies are UFA.
They are in "win now" mode and may have a few more cups to win with this roster.
Smart teams are learning, you do not need to pay your goalie 8M ++++ to win a cup.
Spend that cash on top 6 forwards and top 4 dee.
IE
Bussi/Anderson - Canes
Hill - Vegas
Kuemper - Colorado
Binnington- Blues

I expect Zito to move another player like Rodrigues, create some cap space and get a decent goalie.
The Sabres have three goalies on their roster that would be a good fit, or I could see Binnington getting traded to them now, if the Blues ate some of his contract.
