Boston Bruins 2026 OFFSEASON Roster & Salary Cap VI

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
Could it be that GM’s around the league? Don’t think this is a good draft? I say that because we’ve never seen first round pics thrown around like this. We’ve never seen top 10 pics traded and now we’ve seen it happen three times. GM‘s are dealing first round picks like their 2nds.

Possibly but there’s also a lot of future firsts being traded too.

Not sure if this is the new standard or if the next couple drafts aren’t good.

I wonder if the extreme amount of cap space available plays a factor in it too. A good number of teams couldn't do stuff like this because they didn't have space.

Okay, so maybe not a true number one center, maybe a guy that can fake it? So, just a genuine playmaker with major flaws or something. I’d be happy to trade Geekie for this faker. Some GM take this and run! Get desperate DS.

I think this is the result of a poor free agency class. The only way for teams to improve their rosters are through trade.
