No those are two different things, the memo was saying that they were trying to trade Kreider and Trouba to free cap space but the letters to the fans are about announcing they’re doing a retool.

I think Yakemchuk is a move that gets Anaheim closer to a SC down the road while Spence is a move that gets them closer to the playoffs next year. I would be surprised if Yakemchuk is available though.

yakemchuk is probably untouchable for the most part. no way they'd move him in a deal for mctavish

I wanted Risto at the trade deadline. His defense is very solid. Obviously love his size too. I’m all for him. Just not sure that the beeker is( maybe worried about what his next contract will be)
