How does trading Vatrano help? I'm saying that most of the Ducks tradeable assets that other teams would actually want are going to have to go towards a Knies trade. IMO definitely Mintyukov + 27 1st + another piece. That leaves only McTavish as a trade chip for a top 4D. And McTavish alone is not nearly enough IMO. Unless you want to trade McQueen or Solberg?

We have enough 2nds and other decent prospects to get a mid-pairing D. It’s a top pairing D that we are short on assets for.
