Avs have a big boy team. It might take some tinkering to get everyone adjusted but if everyone is comfortable by playoff time this team looks incredible.

I don't know if I have confidence in Washington making it out of the East. I think they get to the ECF because clearly both the Devils and Hurricanes got WAY worse the last week, and the Rangers aren't a threat in that division, either.

Problem is if they end up playing any of the Atlantic teams, I'm picking whoever that is over Washington. Just a hunch.

Back then, he was blindsided by that trade. He still probably assumed he was going to extend in Colorado. He admitted to TSN it wasn't a fit hockey wise, and Dallas was a better fit for his GF and him off the ice as well. Also, Rantanen is way better friends with Hintz than he is with Aho.

I'm not going to be here saying that it's all going to turn around. I thought it would be a great fit in Carolina. But I do think it will be a better fit in Dallas. Sucks for us, but I am confident that we can beat that team, as long as we are healthy.

I feel like CMac is telling the locker room this is it, this is the year to go absolutely bonkers all-in to win the Stanley Cup because I have a feeling come the offseason, we'll be seeing all of Manson, Colton, and Wood traded for draft picks in order to replenish assets.

Why would Colton and Manson cost us to move them? The salary cap is rising. Defensemen like Manson are ALWAYS in demand. It wouldn't shock me one bit if a team offered a 1st round pick for him in the offseason if the Avs are wanting to move him.
