I've watched a little of him so far, it's been tough getting through their games though so I stopped but plan on catching a few more soon. He's stood out and while I'm always BPA, man is he small.
5ft8 at the very most, maybe 160 right now, probably lighter than that. He's definitely small.

Another early ranking, just out.

What a year to be drafting top 2? Martone he would be exact fit we need here. Big and can score, fight. Hensler reminds me of former pic McDonagh. Habs will probably pick Fiddler. He's big strong, mobile right shot D. We draft around 12.

I crave a prospect to root a lottery pick. Does Misa handle physically well? Portone seems a dream, but i wish for a 1C for a good/perfect tank model. The injury of Mcqueen lessen my hype of the answer for my Hope (1C with the potential to help our lack of grit)

Didn't think I'd be back here this early, but here we are.

What's the early outlook for the top of the draft so far? Hagens/Misa/Martone?
So far, it looks like we want a top 5 pick (Hagens, Martone, Schaefer, Misa, McQueen). Then, from 6-16 its pretty close.

Desnoyers looks solid but hard to project how dynamic he will be offensively.

Hensler has lots of tools but not the greatest toolbox.

Spence is Leonard if Leonard was bigger but with every other skills down a notch or two.

Lakovic is big and fun but still a project.

Frondell has got insane hands and great vision but has below average skating and is always hurt.

And finally, theres Eklund whom I love and is close to entering the top 5 conversation, especially if McQueen is out long term.

If we assume that we get a top 5 pick and that CGY finishes between 11-16, Id say best case scenario for us would be Schaefer and Desnoyers OR Misa and trading the CGY pick + for a guy like Nemec or Nikishin (would be fun with Vanya).

I’m starting to get behind Misa. 1C lefty that can handle phycality/speedy and two-way. Would be a big need for our team and arguably the best player

I would do it for Martone. He's rated second, Demidov was rated second last year and we got him.

I hope we finish second than last. Just in case we suck the next year. Mckenna
Winning the lottery in 2025 will have no impact on the 2026 draft. We did not ''win'' the lottery in 2022. We finished last in that season.

I also love Martone. But, we seriously need a elite center prospect. I don't know if Hage can be a 2c or will end up as a 3c. Beck is a 3-4C. Misa would be perfect for us.
