Those are only of the hall of fame players that i selected. So yzerman wasn’t still playing in the 2000's? St louis? Gaudreau?

If he ends up a top center or top winger it really doesn't matter, you are just way to fixated on size.

Yzerman was at least 5'11 and played his prime when that was closer to average height in the NHL. Far more importantly, there is absolutely zero reason to think Hagens is Steve Yzerman.

It's not like I'm arguing we should take Leo Carlsson over Connor Bedard. Martone is just as skilled as Hagens and doesn't exacerbate our already existing problem of building a top six around three forwards with below average size.

We came close in the mid 2000's, 2005-06 we had 7 centers play 41+ games. 06-07 another 7, 10-11 we had 8 centers with 30+ games.
