I don't think he's movable unless the Sharks offer a 1st to take him. He's got 2 years left on his deal, the Sharks have no retention slots until next season, and he's so broken that by the time he becomes movable he's probably degraded significantly even from where he is now.

I honestly like the hurricanes return Stankoven is an awesome fit in their system and while he has been slumping he is an incredibly talented young player, and the two firsts are extra ammo to make another splash in the next hour or the offseason. given how things unfolded this is about as good as u could imagine as a canes fan.

In what way? Brindamour likes a more grinding style of play as opposed to run and gun. 5'8 Stankoven isn't an ideal fit for a grinding team.
