Sweden - Can White 3-2 after the opening period. Wild game with plenty of scoring chances. Marcus Nordmark may have scored the goal of the tournament after a great solo effort.

Malte Gustafsson continues to be the leading defenseman. Simon Edvinsson 2.0.

I hadn't followed and realize we were up 3-2 and allowed a goal with 3 seconds left.lol

Still, currently, we are in OT... we got a chance!

Not very keen about mental readiness of this group. Lose 2:0 lead against Swedes and 3:0 against USA is not a good look at all

Brutal, but last year sucked more. That team should have and I am convinced would have won gold if it wasn't for that random ass last second goal.

This year just felt off right from the beginning and even if the Czech team managed to advance, I think it would have been another 4th place, which might be even more annoying than this choke job.

And you know what, since the tournament wasn't available for public unless you paid a ridiculous price, I don't even care. A potential success at Hlinka, where we can actually see the games, would be much preferred. :naughty:
