Where is Greer playing next year?It is surprising to not see a first round pick in Greer not be invited. He’s a dynamic offensive talent, who albeit is small, can really skate.

How did they not pick Lawrence? He’s one of the best players.
It must be due to him playing the in USHL. He was at the summer camp, and he's good enough to make the team. Maybe his team would prefer to not release him, and he is deferring to his team? I'm not sure. How did they not pick Lawrence? He’s one of the best players.
for some reason that article didn't list the last 3 players on Canada WhiteHow did they not pick Lawrence? He’s one of the best players.
Ah, I see that now, thanks for the correction!for some reason that article didn't list the last 3 players on Canada White
Tynan Lawrence, Callum Croskery, Adam Valentini, all three play in the USHL

Weird regarding Hemming? Another Espoo talent Vuori not selected either. Järventie injured? Karjalahti because of age or not good enough? Santala?Finland

Not much changed in this age group I believe Santeri Väistö only newcomer. For example Oscar Hemming not done enough to get national team invite. Goalies are good Lammi should be starter.
Defence should be lead by Piiparinen, Alalauri and Suominen. Järvenpää and Kasurinen notable cuts. Nice to see Vanhatalo has finally claimed spot on A team offence. HIFK U18 team forwards Nuutinen, Juntunen and Kossila among notable forward cuts.
Well I would have chosen Hemming myself. Vuori has played in past I don't think his good enough for this team theres already 5 better centers. Max Järventie? you mean? also not that good.Weird regarding Hemming? Another Espoo talent Vuori not selected either. Järventie injured? Karjalahti because of age or not good enough? Santala?
Isn't Aapo Kurri a noticeable cut- or should I say non selection as well?
Also his linemate Onni Kovalainen has done well I quess they cut both. Oscar missed out on Pohjola camp and entire U16NT season with injury and has been rolling just couple weeks now. Im sure they will test him at some point.Yeah Keinänen is a noticeable cut. Hemmings cut is on another level though as you've mentioned.
Moore and Tretheway are too old for this tournament. USA will be sending this team:Viggo Björck should dominate at this level.
Di Iorio, Joe Iginla, Jacobson, Pavao.
Moore, Trethewey.
Tomek? Ruml? Katolicky.
Shouldn't Dravecky and Novak also be eligible for U17? Kinda weird they are not there.
Here is Czech roster. A lot of names I wanted to see. Curious what the other Czech posters think.. any big name missing? This age group isn't one I follow closely enough. Katolicky, rumel and kachlir were names I was hoping for.
@czech @martygod12 @Goodman68 @Wooren
Novak! That's the one that is missing for me. Wasn't he the guy at the Youth Olympic Games?Shouldn't Dravecky and Novak also be eligible for U17? Kinda weird they are not there.
Had to check.. Dravecky is 16. He was good enough for Hlinka but not the U17????Shouldn't Dravecky and Novak also be eligible for U17? Kinda weird they are not there.
