They had him listed as the 7th goal scorer, but corrected it to Ryan Leonard. Weirdly, they also corrected a scoring error earlier in the game crediting GP with that assist they had originally listed as Ryan Leonard.

His ice time is getting lower, just over 16 minutes today. Not sure if they are just making sure he doesnt get hurt or worn out though. Big USA/Slovakia game Sunday morning.

Czech's take the lead and then Perreault's line find a nice one down low. Perreault with a nice play to settle the puck and creates a tic-tac-toe play for the goal.

I like GP a LOT but this step up in game speed and talent vs the NCAA definitely exposes some things he has to work on.
He is throwing the puck around more hastily than in the NCAA leading to some bad turnovers. To me this indicates the speed of the game is heightened relative to what he is used to and is impacting his processing time. Nothing he can't get past, just something I've observed.

A player like Perreault will make those kinds of mistakes, he just has to learn when the risk is worth it and the pros will generally outweigh the cons. USA ties it up 3-3.
