Because my argument was never about them immediately leaving like Henderson, I don't even expect the bulk to leave like Henderson. Leagues in countries with dramatically different cultures will have to overpay for talent and a limited amount of players will even entertain the idea in the first place.

And because the Saudi clubs will have to overpay, regardless of who they purchase from, it's why fans claiming fair market on some deals and not others is stupid.
Well I'm not even arguing about the second part.

I'm just arguing it's stupid to say "like China" to describe the current situation with Saudi Arabia.

U can do anything you want when youve openly stated that you feel you are always right and never wrong lmao
I never stated this. If I am wrong happy to admit.

I am not claiming fair market because of Saudi teams over paying. Teams overpay all the time. Every team can over pay another team. The difference is when the Newcastle can launder players to Saudi teams to dodge the rules. There is a very clear difference

The like China part is a league that has to overpay because massive culture shock and a limited amount of players that want to go there. And why some claiming fair market is dumb.

And yes, the country's response to COVID is part of that culture shock.

There will be culture shock as long as a player moves to another country that isn't related to theirs.

You think a Korean player moving to Wolverhampton won't have culture shock? Or a Brazilian moving to Columbus?

You could argue an English team has to overpay to bring a Japanese player over because of culture shock as well then.

Not sure why you are being super pedantic over this. Leagues that are viewed as the top tier don't have that issue because players want to play there. Countries that have greater freedoms won't have the issues that countries like Saudi and China have. I figured these points didn't have to be made because they are obvious.

Why not wait for what the fee is. But, seems more like you have an issue with the transfer in general, regardless of what the fee is.

Because you're assuming China has the same level of cultural restrictions as Saudi Arabia. It's just a dumb assumption to make.

No, I'm arguing they just have more restrictions than countries from the major European leagues that the players could have otherwise played in.

The major restrictions China faced was due to a world altering event.

What restrictions are you arguing that China has now or pre-COVID that would be the same as Saudi Arabia?

I don’t care what the fee is. I care that Newcastle has an entire league at their disposal to flog players off to in order to circumvent the Sustainability rules. Which is what I’ve said the entire time

If Amiron is sold for 100M, you have an argument, if he's sold for a fee similar to other players to Saudi, then you don't have an argument.

You aren't even reading what I'm writing.

Seems like you're trying to argue both Savant's and my points with one argument.

I'm not arguing for whatever garbage he's saying. I clearly am responding to comments saying this is like China and arguing that it's not the same.

You are acting like I'm arguing China is more restrictive or as restrictive as Saudi, I never claimed that. I'm arguing that they are significantly more restrictive than living in England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, etc. If you don't agree, we can just leave it at that.

Except you're responding to my argument when I'm responding to comments being made that the Saudi situation is just like China.

And you can't speak on significantly more restrictions than other countries if you haven't lived their or if you're a visible minority. If all you are basing this is on news you receive from the US then you're just arguing off of some half truths.

You still have a basic misunderstanding of what the issue is, if you are talking about similar fees. There is no such thing as a similar fee.

If Chelsea sold to Gallagher to Strasbourg because Chelsea was going to get a point deduction if they didn’t balance the books, that would be what the similar situation is; expect that Newcastle’s owners have a while league that they can call on

Some people left Chima before Covid didn’t they
Yes. It coincided with clubs starting to not spend as much and the league imposing a foreign player limit and salary cap. The only player that really got homesick was Tevez.

All I'm saying is the situation was different compared to the Saudi league. The only similarity is the fact that the leagues spent big money on European players.

Now I feel like waffles.

I went to lunch yesterday with a sales rep/friend and she ordered a waffle and for some reason the thought in my head all lunch was "Why would anyone order a waffle instead of pancakes? There is just no comparison. Waffles are just a delivery device for other things. Syrup, butter, fruits or what have you are the only thing that makes the waffle relevant."

Sometimes I let thoughts run amok
