OT: 2024 Washington Commanders thread: change we can believe in!

I still wonder, if for some reason the Commanders home coming falls through, if Ted will try to work his way into getting a new Caps stadium at RFK. Would give him the brand new/top of the line stadium he wants and takes up less space then a new football stadium.

Ted can try that, but football means a lot more than hockey or basketball in DC.

I'd figure they would pursue Ben Johnson from Detroit but always a gamble with a first time HC.

Seems premature given Penix hasn’t played a snap. Unless Cousins has already shifted into cancer mode.

Not sure why they’d telegraph this without getting so much of a peek at their Penix in action…

Meh.

RR the HC was a lot better than RR the GM.

That’s not saying a lot, I get it, but he was a good leader of men, and certainly fixed some things within the franchise.

He just sucked donkey balls as the main talent evaluator. Like, big balls too.
