I still wonder, if for some reason the Commanders home coming falls through, if Ted will try to work his way into getting a new Caps stadium at RFK. Would give him the brand new/top of the line stadium he wants and takes up less space then a new football stadium.
Ted can try that, but football means a lot more than hockey or basketball in DC.

I’m in the fantasy playoff semis, I’ve been starting jakobi Meyers in my flex but recently picked up McMillan from the Bucs who’s been good with baker the last 2 games. What y’all thinking? Stick with Meyers?

Meh.

RR the HC was a lot better than RR the GM.

That’s not saying a lot, I get it, but he was a good leader of men, and certainly fixed some things within the franchise.

He just sucked donkey balls as the main talent evaluator. Like, big balls too.
Dude. He was a defensive coach and we were abysmal defensively under his watch. He’s a nice guy, but that’s about it. As a football guy, he’s cooked.

He also has poor game management and situational awareness. He should never have a decision making job again after he didn’t know they were eliminated with a Packers win.

RR was hired to help change the face and culture in the building. He was good at that. Right coach for us at time. But he was terrible at talent evaluation, game management, halftime adjustments, coaching them up, game planing, and winning.

So if you need to change the culture then fine. If you want to win, it is a bad choice for a coach.

If their goal was to write and execute the worst possible script to start the game, then mission accomplished. Both sides need to play much better or they’re going to get the doors blown off.

I wouldn’t hire him again, obv.

But coaches like him DO have long shelf lives. It wouldn’t shock me if he got another HC job.

Teams like the Bears and Jets and Browns would hire him. He’s take those jobs, IMO.

TERRIBLE f***ing start to the Skins game. They are gonna get boat raced.

He can be the Chief Culture Officer. He doesn’t belong anywhere near an NFL coaching job.

At what point does the same guys over and over grabbing receivers by the face mask, you know, not fall on coaching? From a technique standpoint it’s probably the most obvious of defensive holds. People argue “well this was the last ranked defense last year”. Literally half of the defense has been changed, major upgrades at linebacker and safety, Lattimore is now shutting down one side of the field, and this defense still gets torched by the likes of Spencer Rattler. I just don’t see how you cannot question Whitt from a game plan and player coaching standpoint.
